  1. More than likely you'd only get a warning. If you continue you could get your speed throttled or disconnected for a short time, if you continue from than on they'll either drop you or turn you into the copyright holders.

I don't want to say it's impossible to get fined right off the bat, but IPs tend to give you the benefit of the doubt and warn you on your first offense. They're mostly gunning for seeders and uploaders, kill the brain kill the body.

which is why i never make it on private torrent sites because i'm not going to sit there and let my ratio get great while i'm personally responsible for 100s of other people getting the album off me when i just wanted 1 copy.

  2. i've always been kind of anti-stones. i just don't believe they deserve any comparison to the beatles whatsoever, and i can't imagine the landscape of music today being any different without them ever forming.

i do like a few songs that i've heard here and there, and i've listened to a couple albums... but nothing's changed my mind about that.

you can not like the stones or whatever, but thinking they had no influence on later music is just ignorant!

  3. Vinyl weight does not affect sound quality. It has everything to do with the mixing/mastering as well as the spacing and distribution of the music throughout the LP. This has been argued about in multiple threads here.

i was always under the impression it sounded better, but nonetheless, still less prone to warping over time i would imagine.

thanks for educating me, what are the benefits of 180g then?

  4. first thing i can remember since before i can even remember is my dad listening to a lot of pearl jam, along with some stp, soundgarden, alice in chains, and candlebox thrown in. i started out listening to that shit, then i remember taking dookie, and offspring-smash off his cd rack and liking them alot. this was at age 6. when i was 8 he bought let's face it by the bosstones and that was probably the first album i ever "loved" followed closely by ska-core, the devil, and more which he bought a few months later.

i'm so grateful to have a dad that's into such good music.

  5. i was vegetarian for about 2 and half years, then went to be vegan for another 1 and a half after that. i couldn't do it anymore, i was just feeling like shit with no energy, and i thought it'd be cheaper to just go back to eating meat rather than buying all sorts of vitamins/supplements...(being blazed at 2 am and offered chicken nuggets didn't help either)

i totally understand how people justify their choices, but it's just not for me anymore...

i might be able to go without meat at some point (my girlfriend is veggie), but never will i ever go without chocolate milk again!!!
