Pearl Jam seriously needs to look at what Jack White is doing, and follow his business model. They are sitting on an absolute gold mine of reissues and bootlegs.

They really are. I don't know why their back catalog isn't in print. All of it is in demand and it would save a lot of true fans money on the insane price gouging that happens on the second hand market.

Like everything related to the 10 club, it is a poorly run clusterfuck regardless of what it is, whether it be merchandise or ticketing. I love Pearl Jam, and I still consider them my favorite band, but it's stuff like this that makes me want to stop buying anything they put out aside from normal album releases.

I usually get the email about 4 hours after whatever it is I want is already long gone.  I never got one for this, my friend texted me after he got his email.

Wow, that sucks.  Fuck Pearl Jam.

Everything is sold now except Tonight the Sky.  Someone should buy it so I can close the book on what I hope is not a huge mistake.

Trent himself has said that he wants to a Fragile deluxe special edition thing for the past few years. No idea what that would entail, but I can't imagine that album remains hard to get for too much longer.

Were those Wilco Billy Bragg Mermaid Avenue releases taken off too?  I remember seeing them on earlier lists, but they are absent on the official one.

Pretty cheap. I got my Real Thing from them.

I returned my piece of shit copy back to the store, and my replacement was just as bad.  I really want a good copy of this, as I'm really, really enjoying the album itself. Hopefully this gets resolved soon. 

I have two copies of the original KFAD (red and black) and the 7" boxset.  I will still buy one of these because i am a sucker.  The OG press of KFAD is one of the best sounding records I own.

I'm going to buy the shit out of this.

I caved and picked it up from a local store today (which had at least 20 copies).  Same problems as others: loud pops/clicks on pretty much every song.  And yeah, this thing is compressed to shit; very muddy.  I'm surprised because PJ releases are generally high quality.  The packaging is very nice though.  Shouldn't be 35 fucking dollars however. 

 

I am digging the album regardless of everything else.

I don't understand how a single LP, which will likely be in relatively enough abundance in a few weeks, is $30 to $35 in stores and doesn't even come with a digital download.  For that price it should come with an HJ.
