First of all I would like to say that I have a license to carry a concealed firearm and own 2 handguns. Why? Because its my right and because I have never committed a felony, and have a spotless adult record. I live in a less than desirable city setting and if someone tried to break into my house, I'm not going to allow myself or my family to be victimized. Do you think the majority of the people committing crimes with guns went through legal channels to obtain them? I highly doubt it.
