  1. My record came from elephanttttt today, great condition and smooth trade.
  2. It means it is able to run code and applications that are not meant to be run. The best reason to own one is for people who download a lot of xvid files and don't like watching them on their pc. I used to use it to watch movies and stuff with xbmc, but haven't done that in a long time so I don't need it. It can also play backups (burned games), run games from the hdd, play a ton of different emulators (snes, nes, genesis, decent psx and n64). To look more into what modding is and such for the xbox check out www.xbox-scene.com
  3. It is soft modded and I am too lazy to return it to it's defaults.
  4. I've decided to get rid of my modded xbox as I don't really use it anymore. It is softmodded and will come with two controllers, the media/dvd remote, the advanced tv pack (s-video and optical out). I am asking for $60 plus shipping. The xbox jewel has also been cleared, but I never got around to gluing it down but it will be included. Xbox games: JSRF/Sega GT - $5 Halo 2 - $12 Shenmue II (has movie of 1) - $8 Star Wars: Battle Front 2 - $12 All prices are pre-shipping. I'd also take any vinyl trades for it. Not sure if anyone around here is into gaming or such, figure I'd try.
  5. Selling off all the Fall Out Boy CDs I own. http://cgi.ebay.com/Fall-Out-Boy-4-CD-Lot-Grave-Cork-Tree-Heart-Evening_W0QQitemZ260157237406QQihZ016QQcategoryZ307QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  6. Like a hypochondriac? They think they are sick all the time when they usually aren't.
  7. I love the Exchange for all but vinyl. I always find sweet dvd and cd deals when I go. My other hobby is being a huge nerd. I watch anime, Japanese movies, play a lot of rpgs (no WoW). I am also into graphic design and photography, but haven't really done much with them in a long time. I'm also think of getting back in BMX, just as something to do when bored, save some gas money and keep me in shape. Edit: wow my brain is like dead today, I seem to have already replied to this. Well was a bit more in depth this time.
  8. Portugal. The Man - Church Mouth Circa Survive - On Letting Go Two Gallants - The Scenery of Farewell EP
  9. They have actually said the same things to me too, since I am also 21. On Tuesday the doctor gave me a 30 day trial of Nexium to try out, so hopefully that does something as it builds up more in my system. Right now the stomach pain is too unbearable to do anything but lay or sit around, that is why I missed school so much. I hope they can at least figure out how to dull the pain enough so I can function enough to go back to school and work. It is really weird we have been told the same thing, they ever suggest IBS or Crohn's for you? I hope everything works out for you too, as thus us horrible and I can't imagine having it for over a year straight (though I have had stomach problems all my life, just never lasting more then a week or so at once).
  10. For the last couple of months I have had really intense stomach pains that would come and go. At the time I had no primary doctor, so I tried to look around and it always seemed like it'd be months before I could get a visit. So about a month and a half ago I get a call from my dad's doctor saying he can see me in a few weeks, so I make an appointment and all is good. About a week before my appointment I am out with my friends at the bars, just showed up and had not even started to drink when I suddenly felt really hot, nauseated and dizzy. I grab my friends keys to go sit in his car make it about 10 feet blackout, fall over and lay on the ground out for about a minute. I come to and my friend who is a nursing student is standing over me, along with tons of people and a few cops who assume I am drunk. I try to stand out, black out again and fall again. At this point the cops sit me up and make sure I am not drunk, I tell them I have not had anything to drink at all they give me a weird look say ok and just leave. After a few minutes they come back, ask if I want the EMTs to look at me, I decline and they tell me to leave as soon as I can walk which I do. A few days later I go to my doctor's appointment and tell him about all that is going on with me, he assumes my stomach pain is an ulcer but has explanation for my passing out. He orders me to have a CT scans, wear a holter heart monitor for 24-hours, have my neck looked at to make sure no blockage in the veins and arteries, and an upper gi for my stomach. I get all the tests done, and everything comes back normal, so he sends me on my way. About a week later the first day of classes start, I get to my first class sit there for around an hour when I suddenly get the feeling like I am going to pass out again. I manage to fight it off, walk to my car and call my dad to pick me up. So I call a new doctor, go see him and he schedules me for more tests. A day or so after I see that doctor my stomach pain intensifies and I go to the ER, but still nothing. I see the doctor again last Tuesday and he suspects my stomach pain might be my gallbladder, but still has no clues on my passing out. So yesterday I had an ultrasound of my gallbladder and my entire stomach region and Friday I have an echo of the heart and have to wear another heart monitor for 30 days. Since the first day of classes I have not returned to school due to the pain in my stomach, and I have also felt constantly out of it since my first pass out episode. So now I have to drop out for the semester, hope they accept my fee appeal so I can get all my money back, and also since my insurance company sucks I have to pay non-student price for my insurance since they don't care the doctor said I should not be in school. I have been told that this could all be in my head from stress or anxiety, but I never felt like either was happening to me. This is my last year of school, so why would school suddenly cause me stress? I just hope these doctors can figure something out so I can return in the spring. Also sorry for the long rant, I'm just really frustrated with how my insurance is handling this, the school, my parents, and how I feel. It also goes to show that America does need an improved health care system, because what if I had my insurance and say had cancer and need chemo? They still want me to be a full-time student to be covered under student insurance?
  11. Haha, I haven't named any fish since I was a kid. The last one I named just out of the tank and when we found his crispy body weeks later I cried. On a side note, that blue fish jumped out of the tank and my dad found it barely breathing and covered in carpet fibers. He tossed it back in the tank and it slowly came back to life, caught ick really bad and survived and now is quite healthy.
  12. Actually that's pretty funny because I did. And I dropped out after three quarters, because it was worthless. I used to be really good with photoshop in high school because I would spend night after night working one pieces. Then one day I stopped, didn't touch it for 3 years and now I suck. A shame too because I really like it and thought about making a career out of it.
  13. Couple $100. We built our own filter that filters the water naturally (bio balls and a huge underneath tank full of algae). It was a pretty expensive set up.
  14. Agreed. They have 2 7"s, first is probably impossible to find though. The Park/Civic pops up on ebay a lot, and I think Miles still has some, so try emailing him.
  15. No, I've grown used to the noise and light underneath being on all the time so it does not bother me at all.
  16. Well I don't want to hi-jack Loren's shipping thread anymore so I made this. Here is a picture of my main fish tank (will get more, better ones when camera battery is charged). Seems quite a few of the fish were hiding in this picture. As you can see there is quite a bit of algae on the back, but it is nice colored algae so it is not as bad as a tank full of green algae. And that is my bed in the foreground, the tank is my headboard pretty much.
  17. sweet. i have a freshwater tank im able to keep up with but salt water tanks are awesome. it just seems really expensive/tedious having to maintain it just like the ocean more or less... Oh it is. When we first set up the main tank, our fish kept dying and we never figured out why. Despite that my dad still would get $50+ fish. Now the tank is quite stable and he doesn't even have those expensive fish in there again. He puts a lot of work into it every night, tons of chemicals/vitamins/other random stuff to keep it healthily. Salt water is a ton of work and is really expensive, but the fish are usually so much nicer looking than freshwater. Plus corals looks amazing too.
  18. this brings on a whole other topic... your dad has saltwater fishtanks? isnt that a ton of work? i think itd be awesome to have one... Yeah we have 2 tanks, and are about to set up a third. He loves his salt water fish tanks. Though the new one is going to just be corals and live rock and small fish to help cycle.
  19. Both are better than DHL. My dad ordered some live Coral for our fish tank and paid for overnight, DHL loses them in Cincinnati, finds them later that day and refuses to drive them up here that night. Half the corals are dead or dying when we finally get them, and they refused to pay any compensation.
  20. I was disappointed with this album. I'd rather have All's Well on vinyl.
  21. I'd love to see A Times Beach Crush Factor's (Ladd from Park)s/t EP on a 7". Amazing little EP.
  22. Slowest day of work I've had in months. Later my parents are bringing me food from the cook out I am missing.
