  1. Seems like half of the people who ordered this got a warped copy. Mine actually came just fine, from Amazon.ca hand delivered by Ramona Flowers.
  2. In lieu of getting into this argument with you again: first, the Kickstarter wasn't to press the album, it was for creating the album as a whole, to cover all costs of everything surrounding the album. Everything extra they put into funding a completely free US tour. They didn't pocket any Kickstarter money. The plant looped them into a contract far more expensive than they had intended on spending, and this being their first try at pressing vinyl, they really didn't know any better. You don't need to change your mind about the whole thing, but I know that Showbread is good dudes, and they were never trying to take advantage of anybody.
  3. When the last album came out, there was some hate about 1) the price of the WCKI? vinyl (which, actually, was high because the pressing plant screwed them over) and 2) a lyric that a lot of people took as the band lumping homosexuals in with thieves, rapists - which wasn't Josh's intended meaning with the line at all. I can go into it more if people like, but I don't see it necessary. These are all great dudes, and Cancer is a pretty fantastic album. I'm glad to have been able to help them on this. If anyone's interested in having it, the digital download is free on Come&Live! With T&N's back catalogue being bought out, I don't think we'll ever see any of that era of Showbread being pressed. Unfortunately.
  4. That's true, and it IS coming. I think it's done, just in post-production now. Lots of unforeseen holdups, but they've been putting a lot of work into it. I think Kevin's response was supposed to be to me. If it is: I can't tell you what it is, but it's fun. You'll like it.
  5. @Kevin: It's definitely not what you think, but I'll think you'll be pretty pleased about the next project.
  6. I worked together with my friends in Showbread to bring you Showbread's newest album, Cancer on limited vinyl. Only 300 copies total, 90 on pink and the rest on black. This is only technically a pre-order - the records should be showing up tomorrow and then shipping immediately. http://showbread.storenvy.com to order. I know some of you guys have a thing against this band, but I'll do my best to answer any questions you have, or you can hit up Garrett at [email protected]. The album is available for free to download at Come&Live!. For any of you that were fans of old old Showbread (read: pre-T&N era), something else is in the works for next year.
  7. State Hospital looks like it's out. Shame too, because I can't access my autorip from Amazon.
  8. Friend code: 3823 - 8597 - 5577. Hit me up bitches!
  9. As it gets closer to the end of the year and Sufjan still hasn't had his single, I can help but wonder if they're saving him for December and using a Christmas song.
  10. Effffff. I want to bite, but $20 extra is a bit too much for me. I can't decide if I'll regret not having it or not..
  11. I can't help but be curious now of what they look like and what the suits are going to look like with them. I love this sort of thing. Pics?
  12. Thanks mate. Sent him a message, haven't heard back yet so I'll keep looking in the meantime.
  13. Also, seriously, somebody sell me this record. My friend's birthday is coming up and I really want to surprise her.
  14. Long story short, the user that sold me Tegan and Sara - The Con dropped out of contact when it never showed up. So I'm moving on, please help me find another copy.
  15. You can wash them, it's just that they won't turn out quite so drastic if you do. By not washing them, you allow the jeans to kind of take the form of your body, and over time they fade and wear really uniquely. Not to mention, raw selvedge denim is the kind of thing you buy once and get years and years of use out of them. They can be pricey, though. Your typical raw denim is going to cost $140-$200 or can even climb to $300+, depending on brand, fabric, weight, all sorts of things. That's why I went with Gustin to try my first pair. Instead of selling to retail (like they used to, which then sold for ~$230), they're just selling directly to the buyer now at a huge markdown. If anyone does use my invite for the $20 off a pair (this one: https://www.weargustin.com/invite_from/1027 - or you can PM me and I'll help you out), I think the credit doesn't show up when purchasing, but it does take that $20 off when your card is charged. So it is there! Promise!
  16. Any of you guys into raw denim? I just got my first pair from Gustin (https://www.weargustin.com/store), a crowdfunding based raw denim label (so they're cheaper than high end store brands, because they only make what gets pledged). Really excited to see how they fade. If anyone's interested in them, (they only offer a limited amount of each fabric so it keeps changing up) you can use my invite which gets you $20 off (and gets me $20 off as well), so the price goes down to $61 or $79 depending on the fabric. Here's that, if anyone wants it.
  17. Not happening. Sick freak. I added prices to a few things that were missing them, also cleaned up the list. Replying to PM's now, keep 'em coming.
  18. Hey, help me eat this week. Please and thanks. Taking offers.
  19. Opening this back up with some adds / price drops because I'm basically broke right now. I move into the new place on July 1st and I'd love to not be struggling.
  20. d00d what's your email, I'll send it to you.
