Did you read the back of the lp? It was about as subtle as a smack across the face. Just because they say "even labels that some of you love rob bands" instead of "deathwish robs bands" doesn't mean there wasn't clear intent to send a middle finger at deathwish. it was a pretty angry message, as opposed to just saying "we're putting this out ourselves go DIY" Also for the record, I'm not trying to start beef. The numerous reports of the band saying things along the lines of fuck deathwish and them releasing a lp that blatantly attacks their previous label however probably have helped me believe this are credible enough rumors to mention. Also I find it interesting that the label doesn't carry the new TT album in their distro, while others have copies. I'm sorry dude, but something seems rotten and it doesn't seem to be from the DW camp. Were you at sound and fury?? Do you own one of the lp's? I do and I was there. They could also be pointing the finger at Malfunction or Six Feet Under or Spiderghost....so to single out DW is a little premature. I'm not saying it's NOT directed at DW, but to single them out as the ONLY label that's recieving hate seems to be the easy way out. I doubt DW is the only label that makes bands buy copies from them at whole sale....I think all labels do that.

If you weren't there then now you can pretend you were. This is a live hardcore lp, so expect it to sound raw, complete with fuck ups. No Live at CBGB overdubbing here. This record is done and ready to ship next week. There were only 97 pressed, and only 80 available for sale. Extremely limited and comes with a hand stamped cover and labels. Find that shit and get into it.

250 is pretty fair actually. I've seen it for sale a couple of times recently and that is the going price. Both sold really fast.

I got super lucky and got the last one in Seattle. The merch girl found one last copy mixed in with the grey copies. PUMPED!

Out of honest opinion I think those comps are fucking great. So much of that music was made in pressings of 500 or less, so owning original copies of those records are next to impossible even if you're willing to throw down lots of money as they just aren't enough around that are for sale. Everyone I've ever listened to has been great, enough so that it's almost become it's on genera. You should check out the Flex book if you haven't already. I assume you're into american punk/hardcore. It's an essential grab. The new issue just came out. The book itself is about 70 dollars or so but it is the end all coffee table book. I have an older copy that I got for christmas a few years back and I have yet to put it down. It's just sooo good. Only american stuff, it has pressing info, rates how good the record is on a scale of 1-10 and gives a briefs description of each record. It has pretty much every us punk/hardcore record you can imagine, even some of those original records by some of the KBD bands.

I think every copy I've ever seen has 1/700. KBD are all bootlegged records, as there is no "Red Rum" label, it's just a label that everyone who's made a KBD LP uses as ongoing joke. The first couple of KBD'S....maybe 3 or 4 were all made by the same dude and all of the first pressings came on black vinyl, with colored vinyl bootlegs(bootlegs of a bootlegs...get it?)following. The first 4 were all american bands, after that then people started making international KBD comps. Everyone that I've seen has the Howdy Doody comic on the back. Off the top of my head that is all I can remember about them. I think the first 4 in the series were 700 on black and then the rest on colored vinyl......so black was the original pressing color and as I said earlier the colored vinyl was just someone else bootlegging those records. I don't know much about issues 5 and above though. Sorry.

Give someone a good, and I mean good, chunk of money for one of these.

Yeah, I need one of those tour versions......thank god the first half of the tour, minus california, they play small shows like Missouri and New Mexico....they just need to make it to seattle and a copy is mine!!!

I got mine today. I got one of the tri-colored LP's. It looks even more sick in person.

The first one was out of 3,000 and each release is going to have 500 less copies until the last one which is going to be out of 500. 500 is still some what a lot. These won't sell out if minutes like everyone thought and most record stores will carry them.

Soo pumped for this. It's soo much better than the last one.
