yeah that's complete bullshit. small time cops with nothing better to do. they could be keeping people from getting robbed or kids from getting molested but they'd rather do the easy shit like bust "alternative" looking kids for bud. i know here in houston the cops aren't necessarily cool with it but there are several outdoor bars around town notorious for people smoking on the property and the cops just look the other way. hell tonight i brought my piece with me to a house show and smoked behind the house. it was byob...i'm just going to pretend they meant "bring your own bud" also, sucks to hear about your gma ryan

that was fucking INCREDIBLE. he played a ton of my favorite older songs. Bad News, Good Friends/Bad Habits, Bag of Bones, motherfucking POSSUM FOR A PEEK....guhhhhh I actually went up and shook his hand and talked to him...something I never do at shows but this felt so intimate. Genuinely fucking nice dude that I'm proud to call one of my favorite musicians. I always assume these guys would be disinterested or assholey but I'm glad I took a shot. About 30 people in a living room for an acoustic solo set. He offered to take requests but he didn't know a lot of the older songs like Never Meant or In The Morning Before Work (my personal suggestion) Toward the end he did Smiths and Jawbreaker covers while some dudes from the audience sang karaoke style. He even gave me the O, Evelyn 7" for free Best time ever. I probably won't get to experience anything like that again in my lifetime so I'm holding on to this one.

my receipt did actually request no audio or video recording. also no flash photography. i'll try to get some but they'll be dark :-/

yeah he shows up on those late night shows quite a bit actually. not so sure how i feel about him in a sitcom.

It's gonna be in the backyard. Just a heads up to anyone expecting a/c. It's gonna rain tonight so bring something waterproof to sit on if you wish. The hosts are also allowing us to bring in a few beers but I'm not sure of the smoking situation. I do the same. I always finish my bowl from the night before in the morning. Just a little to focus me for the day. I had a helluva workout and shower. Ate some tacos. Listening to GY!BE. 'Bout to smoke up and play some l4d2 wait...I need to go to the post office. fuck! #lifedecisions I think a lot of the stoners on this board are afraid to come out and talk about it on the forum/don't post here often.
