no, that's not really what i meant. not suspect like something fishy, just suspect that it was necessary. to me, a pressing of a 1,000 is quite a lot these days. i would have guessed that the people who really wanted it got it already. i didn't mean to sound like i was bagging on anybody. i was just reporting the news on those copies i saw not making a comment on being bummed on their value. i was also guessing the preorder frenzy wasn't really indicative of overall interest in the record. not that it's bad or whatever. i have been kind of curious how the digital version was selling. i definitely didn't buy my copies thinking they would someday fetch huge amounts on ebay. i just grabbed an extra tan/green for my buddy but he ended up being able to get one.

i actually used to drive all the way to Ameoba when i was going to school in Chico too. i dunno if Berkeley would be worth that drive anymore, but the SF store might be.

The Beat is the only other place worth going to you haven't mentioned. 16th/J st. Gearhead Records is out in Woodland. It's tiny. Tiny. Tiny. They did have a crate of collectible type stuff though. I used to just drive over to Ameoba when I lived there. There was a decent store farther down on J street but it's been gone a while now. 2 places actually that are gone. There is another small store but I can't remember what it's called. Over where the bowling alley and the Tower Records/Books used to be. Watt and something. So, yea, I dunno how you missed the Beat. It's really the only game in town for vinyl. Oh, and if you're going to Sac, the best burgers in the world can be found at Nation-Wide Freezer Meats. 1930 H St. I never go to Sac w/o hitting them up. It's really close to the Beat too.

apparently this a UK release w/ the SFTRI material (State of the Art is on Fire 10", Boychucker, and 666). anyone know the pressing info of this deal? i see it's on CD and i saw the 10" today.

yea, it is a def. different sound than 4AM Friday on, even Dixie is quite a bit different I think...

Anyone know about this 10"? I had the cow print one and have been looking to pick it up again, but now I see there is a "blueish/gray swirl" version out there.

the show at slim's was cool. i think i would've like it better seeing them at a small joint w/ just them. anyway, anyone seen the pressing breakdown on this? mine is blue marble

just the 7" or the 7" w/ the CD? i'm guessing it doesn't really matter...not the like CD will add too much value...

yea when it first came out there was just gray marble and white and i had got both colors. i sold the white one a few years ago but i still have the other one.

the last 7" club i saw went for $118. probably depends on how many of the rarer pressings are in there. i haven't seen a pre-order 7" go. the los feliz LP is sold.

man, i've had a steady stream of LP mailers showing up at my door the last few weeks and i realized i got a little crazy w/ all the ordering. time to off some stuff to get some funds... all the chuck ragan will be going up tomorrow if i get around to listing it today or by next sunday for sure. the 7" club is only going as a set w/ the CD though. i don't want to list them individually. the preorder 7" will go up w/ the los feliz cd too. i couldn't decide if i wanted to that the way it came or put the cd w/ the los feliz LP. see sig for pressing info and others up for sale/trade. prefer offers but there are a few things i'm looking for. i also might put up the western addiction lp w/ the 7" (both on color). i've cooled on the josh small lp so that prob go up eventually. the matt sherwood solo lp too. hm, and i cooled on the new american steel, so that is likely headed up there. also, solomon grundy (ex-screaming trees) on clear 7" if someone offered me enough, i might be tempted to part w/ my lillingtons metal tin box set. anyone looking for the offspring self-esteem/jennifer lost the war 10" single? i could part w/ that cheap. so, yea, PM w/ offers and let's wheel and deal so my vinyl buying slush fund gets back up there for stuff i really want. not to mention my burnt wolf hosting comes due next month. cheers --rdp

maybe they use Dreamhost too. Burnt Wolf was down yesterday and I couldn't even get to the Dreamhost web panel to report it. It was down too.
