  1. "The 500 was not removed, it's still there, just checked

however, we will press more if we feel like. people should be able to order it from us for a normal price.

we have nothing from the overpriced records from ebay if you know what i mean. we made this reprint for our fans, not for speculators

so if there is still big demand after it sold out, we will probably repress"

    so there it is..
  2. I bought two copies for me and my buddy, so I wrote them and asked what the deal was with this LP and the pressing info..  here's the answer I got.

"it has been a repress of 500 - so as far as I understand your information is correct. For further information you might have to ask Bubbles Records directly, as we do just organise the bands mail order. This record was never announced to us as ltd. edition but it was never said there will be a further pressing as well - so I can't really help you with this question."

so I am going to email Bubbles.  (who names their record label Bubbles?)

    tbc...

  3. I'm guessing there's probably 500-1000 of those 12" singles. No way we'll ever know for sure.

Those 7s you listed really aren't that hard to come by hence why they don't sell very high. Dine Alone/Can Opener fetched upwards of $30 for a while but there's enough of them out there so prices leveled out.

The hard to find Quicksand items are the white and gold versions of the s/t 7" and the white copy of Manic Compression.

I actually just missed out on this the other day as it went for a pretty fair price. Seen this promo go for over $200 a few times. I got a email notice from eBay that it was up for sale but somebody beat me to it:

that's so crazy I used to own that secondary cd too.

    shit.

do you have that compilation that had Chelsea's goin' under on it?

I had that too.  no idea where that went to.

  4. I've seen em go as high as $70. They seem to regularly sell for $30-$50. I'm holding out on buying one til I find a steal. It's a cool item for sure but not something I'll drop more than 10-15 on.

any idea what the pressing was ?  even a guess?  I mean it only shows like ten people have it on discogs.  that leads me to believe that maybe there was 100 - 250?

also on a side note, how come people don't go more ape shit for their harder to find 45's?

I mean I have had these for years but they rarely come up for sale and when they do they seem to go for pretty cheap...

I mean shit, that stanford split is on discogs for 5 bucks!!!

  5. It's just a promo 12" single that was used as a sampler of songs from Slip before the album was out. It's a nice little rare 12" single but it has the material is on the regular album so this is just something for the "gotta have it all" types (like myself).

Edit - And the 'Frazer' thing was just a typo. Happened quite a bit on many samplers, promos, advances etc etc.

yeah I figured... I bought it, loved it and thought that geeks would be loving it..  but then no one I met ever owned it or had heard of it...

    and..

sadly it's not Kelsey Grammar and sxe crew singing Fazer in jazz style.. that was my other hope when buying it.
