I got mine today as well and the records seem to be beat up. There is a big chunk chipped off the edge of one (which should not effect the playback) and the other seems to have a divot in the middle of the record. I'm hoping that does not cause it to skip. Such an amazing record and I'm so glad it finally got pressed.

I got all my records in a decent amount of time and packaged well. Tuesday night we had a Wii bowling party in the basement and listened to every damn one. Not one problem....besides drinking way too much beer and sleeping in way too late on Wednesday.

This whole deal is a crock of shit. First you were taking offers. Then it turned into an auction. Then you push the end date back at least twice. Now even though people had the highest bid you are not selling some of the items? Pretty lame dude.

It's my 30th birthday today. Someone hook me up.

Just bought a house and moved in this week. This is the music storage area for now. I will be either building or buying a shelving unit soon. First and second crate are twelve inches and the third is full of ten inch and 7 inch records. Then my cds which I did not pack alphabetically. doh! That is going to be my afternoon project.

I'm closing on a house next Tuesday and also found out my wife is pregnant. Soooo I'm looking at ways to raise some cash. I don't even know if I can bring myself to sell anything or if anything I have is worth anything. Please don't be mad if I tell you I don't want to sell something. It's hard for me to even think about doing this. I got most of these at shows and they mean a lot to me. :'( PM me any offers. Again please don't be upset if I chose not to sell anything. When I saw them a few weeks ago they said there was not a plan for vinyl. I know it was originally going to be part of split LP but that fell through.

It's supposed to reduce ring wear and seam splits. But I've always been worried about the record getting scratched. But I've never shipped a record, soo... I guess I'm more concerned about scratching the record. I would prefer people shipped in the sleeve. I can deal with a seam split but if the record is scratched that really sucks. I guess I'm not as much of a "collector" as some of you though. I buy records to listen to them. Of course I want the package to look nice but that's secondary.
