colors back up, but not many left!

 

seven hells... what is up with merch table's inventory system?  I put through another order and asked that they cancel my original one.  Fingers are crossed!

I had the colored in my cart, and apparently merchtable doesn't save your shipping info, so while I was filling it out they sold out, black vinyl it is, just stoked to be able to listen to these beasts. 

 

Same thing happened to me.  I had a colored variant of each record in my cart but once I went to pay for them they told me to go F myself.  Gee, thanks Merch Table!  You're so kind!

This makes me so very glad I've held off from shelling out on an OP. Cannot wait.

 

I'm in the same boat.  Stoked to see this finally getting repressed!  My wallet is ready... just take my money already!!!

I have to admit, those early days of VC and SH and Virgil were fun. No drama. No bullshit. A lot of great releases being put out and a real community. 

 

I cringe sometimes when I think about the albums I could have picked up from SH/VC back in the day that now go for waaaay more than what he was selling them for.

I'll gladly sign that petition.  I think it's unfortunate that we, as the constituents of Ohio, have to band together in order to get something like this even ON the ballot.  It's pathetic that we end up having to do our own elected representative's jobs for them.  It makes it pretty clear who it is that they're actually representing.

The other week when i was looking up episodes for one of the actors i accidentally saw the synapis for the 1st episode of next season, which should give you somewhat of an idea of how this season finale will play out

because I LOVE GABES. even though 75% of the stuff they get in there has holes in it or something.

however, you can get amazing deals on awesome stuff there if you keep checking back. (like my sister's recent $170 Sorel snow boots she got for $20, or the Sanuk sandals my bro-in-law got for $10, or the $85 Chaps sweater i had been eyeing at Kohls for my bf and then found for $16 there. also, lots of food super cheap.)

Today was a good day.  I recieved my test press of Torche's Meanderthal from Robotic Empire.  I can't believe they only charged $19.99 for it.  Worth every penny if not more!

And to think this was less than $15 on Amazon when it first came out... Jumpin' Jesus on a pogo stick!

Did anyone else stumble upon test pressings of Torche's Meanderthal for $19.99?  I don't think it comes with any artwork which is fine since I have a purple first pressing.  I don't own any tests so I jumped on it as soon as I saw it.  Now that I'm searching the store again I don't see it listed anymore.  Hopefully some other folks were able to snag one.  It said they had a box of about 50 of them that came from Hydra Head HQ once they closed down operations.

If this is true I find it odd that they'd add new color options this close to bring the product line to an end.  I noticed that they added some high gloss colors (pink, grey, turquoise) which is cool if you're into those colors.  I already have a mix and match setup (4x4 in birch and a 2x4 in black/brown) and I think it looks just fine.

I don't think Coldhands is Benjen, but that seems to be the only real theory out there as to who he is/used to be.

Basically seems like a white walker who retained his mental capabilities, but there is no real explanation in the first 5 books as to who he is or where he came from.

 

Now for other conspiracy theories... I am fully on board with the idea out there that Jon Snow was Rhaegar/Lyanna's bastard love child and Ned just raised him as his own to protect him from Robert.

 

For those that have read the books here's a nice write up about Coldhands and how he could very well be the Night King (mentioned in Old Nan's stories).  Him being Benjen just seems to obvious.  GRRM can do better than that.

The third book is my favorite, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with it.  Also, rad that they used a Chelsea Wolfe song was in the trailer.

 

OMG it was super rad.  Hearing Feral Love at the start of that trailer only served to increase my excitement.  It would be pretty cool if they used more of her music.  It seems to fit pretty well.

I'm glad to see this will be available again for a "reasonable" price.  I will be picking this up for sure and if they are ever able to press and the glass handed kites I'd buy that too.  Both are great albums.
