  1. The records were never shrinkwrapped. I hand assembled all of them and put them in polybags. So yes, the records are opened. The problem with the release is that the plant didn't adhere to the color variants I asked them to. So instead of receiving exactly what was ordered, it was just 1000+ LPs of varying shades, so I attempted to sort and organize it to the best of my ability. It's been over 6 years since it came out, so I am foggy on what is what. Here are the "main" variants: I honestly don't know what is in the stack that I currently have and am selling. Most of the copies I've pulled out look like the bottom right, but some have looked like top middle. I have about 12 left. I'd have to go through them one by one to see what is there. I can do that though, tonight after work.
  2. I just looked and the last copy was sold on 12/7 to someone in France. It hasn't been available since then.
  3. You probably got the last one. I don't handle what's in the store, it's a 3rd party. Everything that's in this thread I am mailing out myself because I found it in a few boxes of old stock I was organizing.
  4. They are all random colors. There are solid gold, green, etc. That pressing, colorwise, was a nightmare. The plant just ran a bunch of random colors.
  5. Everyone who has paid for stuff, it's shipped and or packed and getting dropped off tomorrow. Everyone should've gotten tracking via email or PM. There are a few things that I only have one copy left of, so if you are on the fence...
  6. Randy Savage, shipped your LP this morning! I think most of the copies are on black, but might have 1-2 clear gold copies. Responded!
  7. Did a bunch of a reorganizing of label stuff and found a handful of copies of these releases. Trying to raise some money for some new releases next year. If you don't care about what color and just want a copy to listen to, you've come to the right place. Shipping is a flat $5 for 1 record or free if you buy 2 records. Zao - Self-Titled - $50 Zao - Where Blood And Fire Bring Rest - $75 Zao - Liberate Te Ex Inferis - $65 Hopesfall - The Frailty Of Words - $65 Beloved - Failure On - $65 Beloved - The Running - $20 Beloved - The Running - TEST PRESSING with laser cut cover - $75 Further Seems Forever - How To Start A Fire - $65 The Gloria Record - Start Here - $35 O’Brother - The Death Of Day - Seafoam Green - $50 Hawkboy - S/T & King Folly - $35
  8. The first post in this thread is a link to my tweet predicting this release. I definitely don't know anything about anything T&N vinyl related. EDIT: This is exactly why I stopped posting on this board. Back to the shadows I go.
  9. Because T&N is run by a bunch of god damn troglodytes. They are pressing more of these as well. So if you missed out you can pick it up again in probably 6 months.
  10. Major labels are extremely bloated useless entities that make everything 100 times harder than it should be.
  11. Hey look. https://thefestfl.com/bands/mineral/
  12. I would kill to release any / all Kozelek on vinyl. So much needs to be pressed / repressed.
  13. Animal Style / Matt is still working out details. The dates that keep getting posted are arbitrary dates set by his distributor. He'll post when everything is ready to go. Until then, all news is false news.
  14. Just for the record, shady does not automatically equal illegal. Shady - of questionable taste or morality; lacking respectability in character or behavior or appearance. Sounds pretty accurate to me.
  15. I don't know about royalties because I don't know the specifics of the licensing deal but I can guarantee 6131 will make sure the band gets copies of the LP. Whereas I know that won't happen with SRC since they haven't even talked to the band.
  16. How is that not a reasonable answer? It's a perfect comparison. Yes, 99% of the time the label owns the rights to the record and has complete control over it. That doesn't make it right. In my experience, the point of reissues is to have music you love, from a band you love, on a format you love. If you really love the band and the album, wouldn't you want to have some contact with the band instead of just going behind their back and doing it? It is their art regardless of who "owns" it and I would reckon most artists would like to have some input on how their art is represented. The only reason you'd not try and get in touch with the band is because you simply don't care and are just reissuing the album because you know it'll sell copies, which is exactly what SRC is doing. So yes, it is fucking shady. It's essentially an authorized bootleg. It's amazing that it's such a non issue for most of you guys.
  17. You're telling me that if SRC contacted Equal Vision and licensed Converge "When Forever Comes Crashing" and released it without contacting Bannon or Ballou that you would be totally cool with it and wouldn't think it was even remotely shady?
  18. Just in case anyone was wondering, the 6131 version is band approved and the Shop Radio Cast is being done without the bands approval. Shady shit continues.
