  1. Funniest book I've ever read. Makes me laugh just thinking about it.
  2. Ishmael deals with philosophy and human society in the form of fiction. I would highly recommend this book to anybody. Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami: kind of sci-fi adventure? Murakami creates very dream-like settings and his novels have very mysterious qualities. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time: a mystery written from the point of view of a 15 year old autistic boy. This is a pretty emotional story and a very easy read.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/user/AlphaWerewolff I can't tell if he's a real werewolf or not, because I couldn't see his tail.
  4. Top five in no particular order: First Thing I learned Today- Husker Du Die Today- Off With Their Heads Pits & Poisoned Apples- Kid Dynamite Lamar Vannoy- Bouncing Souls Order Form- Shook Ones
  5. It sounds like high school has gotten a lot more dangerous since I graduated. 10-20 werewolves in each high school just sounds unsafe, not to mention that kids who bring silver bullets to school are treated like terrorists.
  6. Rifftrax. Thanks to Rifftrax I've finally seen Avatar, The Sixth Sense, Twilight 1&2, Harry Potter 1-3, Indiana Jones: the crappy new one, The Dark Knight, Terminator 3, and Transformers. If you don't already know; Rifftrax are movie commentaries made by Mike Nelson and some of the other people behind MST3K. My favorite so far is probably Willie Wonka (the original) with guest commentator Neil Patrick Harris.
  7. Okami!!! Play that shit now! Zelda gameplay in a fantasy Japanese setting with beautiful graphics, Okami is an all-around great game. And Shadow of the Colossus is a cool puzzle/platformer. God I wish I could play my ps2, but my vcr is broken and my tv is crappy. And yeah, so far Red Dead is pretty good. I'm not very far into the story, but the western setting is pulled off very well. Seems like there's lots of random events to keep you busy while you're just riding around in the desert. I shot lots of stuff.
  8. Did not know that. I'm glad I read that here as opposed to finding out the hard way.
  9. I'm seriously contemplating driving to Walmart @ midnight to pick up a copy. I've been playing nothing but my DS for the past few months so it should be a nice change to play something on a screen larger than 4 inches.
  10. Also wanted to be a professional BMX rider and a marine biologist. I am currently 5'7" and working in a box factory.
  11. The Algernon EP will get bid up before the auction ends, I think this sold out really quick. I would bid it up if it was the white copy.
  12. Kid Dynamite Cheeky This Is My Fist Is No Trigger still around?
  13. I thought this was one of the coolest shirts the first time I saw one. By the time I finally found them the only ones left were youth sizes, but it looks like they're back in stock. Some people on this board will like this. http://www.arcticink.com/store_detail.asp?cID=TS-CAL-DWIGHT
  14. Favorite all-time comedy: Upright Citizens Brigade. It's a really absurd sketch comedy that only ran for three seasons, and I never get tired of it. It may not be for everybody, especially Laplanders, Dolphins, and earth-hating tang-drinking alien spore-incubating Astronauts, but I encourage you to try it anyway.
  15. Quinoa with fruit instead of cereal for breakfast, I prefer it with rice milk.
  16. Just got these today and I'm really digging the Besties singles. It's fun music for boring people like me.
  17. The Like Bats EP is amazing. Can't wait for a full-length from those guys.
