That game was the Leafs and Sabres seasons in a nutshell. Crazy. Sharks tore Dallas a new one. The Stars are out if they fail to go 2-0 and have one of Phoenix, L.A. and San Jose go 0-2. Florida now needs one point to clinch but theoretically they could still miss the playoffs if both Buffalo and Washington win out and they fail to gain a point.

Robo Empire seems to get Denovali in too. You might just have to wait longer to get S/T in the states but I'm sure at least one of these distros will get it.

Can't wait. Saw these guys open for Godspeed and it was immense.

Tons of big games tonight. Sharks/Stars should be good. The winner strengthens their playoff hopes while the loser is put on life support. Yikes. Buffalo's tragic # is 4. They gotta beat Toronto tonight.

Not only did they beat the Blues, they put a 5 spot on them. Some teams haven't even scored that much in 4 games against them...*cough*Sharks*cough* Sharks beat Dallas last night to move into the 8th spot. Another game against Dallas on Tuesday. L.A. still leads the Pacific with the loser point they picked up last night. Phoenix is now tied with them but loses the tie-breaker. Calgary was officially eliminated last night. Buffalo is in 9th now. Ottawa plays a big game tonight.

Bump. A few things gone.

I bought $7 worth of tickets. I bought a $1 scratcher the other day and won $8. I know I won't win but figured, "why not".

If they win out, they can still take the division and get home ice too. I'm gonna try to go to the Sharks/Kings game next weekend. Last game of the season. Could be a win and your in type deal. Would be a great game.

I wonder who is buying these on E-bay at those crazy prices.

If I was a Rangers fan, I'd definitely want Washington or Ottawa. I still think the Rangers could handle Buffalo and that would be the most entertaining but Buffalo is scary. The Sharks lost again last night to fall to 9th in the West. This is killing me. 4 games left. The good news?? The Sharks play all 4 against either the Kings or the Stars. They pretty much need to win out to get in though and I don't see that happening. AHHH

Was surprised they didn't do it sooner. It has been a disaster of a season for the organization. The next GM has some work to do. They have some good young pieces in Pacioretty, Desharnais and Subban. But that roster needs some work.

I think they'll go with Elliot too. They are starting Halak tonight even though Elliot has 3 straight shutouts. Makes sense though, get the rusty guy a start.

Minnesota's big first half was a fluke. They had a horrible goal differential and were getting outplayed almost nightly despite winning. Despite that, I still thought they would be at least a playoff bubble team. I actually thought the Jackets could have been a playoff bubble team as well. There isn't a big Rick Nash market out there for trading him though. It's more likely in the summer with the cap projected to go up big again. Detroit/Nashville series would be really fun to watch. I'm hoping for a San Jose/Chicago first rounder as well. I feel bad for the team that has to play St. Louis in the first round. Would love another Philly/Pittsburgh series.

The CD art is kinda boring. Typical post-rock book looking album cover. The vinyl version is badass. It's obviously tongue-in-cheek but way more interesting.

Hard to believe the Sabres were not even sniffing a playoff spot at the beginning of February. What a turnaround. I wouldn't want to play them in the playoffs. I could see them knocking off a Boston or a Florida. Some big games tonight. L.A. vs. Calgary should be good. 4 of the 5 Pacific teams play. Colorado plays. I love this time of year.

Sharks beat the Avs 5-1 tonight. Vancouver beat L.a. 1-0. Calgary beat Dallas 5-4. So San Jose now leads the division, with Dallas falling to 7th and L.A. to 9th. Colorado remains in 10th and Calgary in 11th. It's such a great battle right now. 6 teams over 3 playoffs spots though technically one of those spots automatically goes to one of the Pacific teams.

SJ, Dallas, Phoenix and L.A. all play eachother a bunch of times over the last 8/9 games so whoever fares better in those matches is gonna come away with the Pacific. I don't see Colorado making it. They've already played 2 more games than everyone else and are tied for points with the 8th seed. With 5 games left they'll pretty much have to win out to get in. (I'm guessing 96 points at the cutoff for getting in) Washington will likely make it. I can't believe Florida is going to win that division though. I don't think Winnepeg will make it but i agree that it would be amazing, with that crowd. I think it'll come down to Ottawa and Buffalo for the 8th seed. Buffalo has been playing so good lately but it's Ottawas to lose.

I remember reading on the AP forums (where the guitar player posts occasionally) that they were trying to get this repressed. Seems to just be one of those records that have disappeared into the ether. Hopefully someday.
