  8. Here's a teaser for you: There are four songs. One of them is "Rooftops". Awesome Vard! I know there's a lot of us out here that are excited for this! Any idea if it's going to be a super limited release like #1 was? I hope it's not, but it's also kind of cool if it is.

  10. Pretty killer album, too. I can still picture the cover, with the crossed middle fingers.
  11. This is Hudsoncomplex's fiance.... I first saw choke in something like 1998 with NUFAN, LIMP and TRIGGER HAPPY (i think?) in London so the next time they came around, with AFI, I had to go check them out again. I have seen them about 40 times since then, and went to three of their farewell shows....I still can't understand why everyone else doesn't line up to see them and Passenger Action. It's so hard to understand. But it is nice to go see your favourite band and be able to count the number of fans in the crowd (In Barrie at the farewell tour there was 18 of us) My sister and I are both big fans so we got Choke lyrics tattooed in our upper arms last spring - mine is a quote from lifeline - genius lyrics!!!!!! I had to put my two cents in. Please keep talking about Choke!
  12. I've never seen or heard of any Choke vinyl floating around. If anyone knows of Choke vinyl being pressed, let us know!
  13. it's called "the hardest things to see are on display"
  14. Saw their last tour in London at Call the Office...actually met my now fiance at that show. It was an awesome show, and a really good party (had a few beers..maybe more hahaha). It sucks that Choke was such a good band, but whenever they headlined, it always seemed like noone was there. I really like their last album. When I first got it, I thought the first few songs were badass, the middle sucked, and the last few songs were great. I've now gorwn to love the entire album, and my fiance is walking down the aisle to the last song, Slow Fade. Anyone into Passenger Action? It's Choke, minus Jack and Stefan, but with the drummer from Ghosts of Modern Man/Molten Lava. http://www.myspace.com/passengeractionrock

  16. Started talking Choke on another thread. Anyone have any cool choke stuff to contribute? I my eyes, one of the best Canadian bands out there, well, at least while they were around.
  17. This Thread missed one of the best band on the bill : LAYAWAY PLAN!! don't get me wrong though, i'm a BIG Choke lover !! I forgot about Layaway Plan! They were fucking great! Smallman had some awesome bands... My fiance has a Choke inspired tattoo, and will be walking down the aisle in 2 and a half weeks to Choke's song "Slowfade".
  18. Thanks for posting this dude! They did this in London, too...itwas awesome!
  19. Was that the one where the singer from SBB was just screaming with no mic and you could actually hear him over the rest of the band? I also seem to remember a megaphone, although it's all a bit fuzzy now. Actually, it was probably fuzzy that night as well. Yeah, I seem to remember a megaphone too. i know SBB was really pissed because they were having major sound problems, so the yelling thing makes sense.
  20. Last time I saw them they played an acoustic show at Call the Office in London, and it wasn't very good at all. We actually ended up leaving about 1/2 way through. Not really diggin' the new album
