I took my sweet ass time in The Stick Of Truth and went for a lot of the achievements so I got 22 hours out of it. Sure didn't feel like 22 hours. I'm a diehard fan of the show so I loved all the little things they stuck in there. I can see myself running through it again if I run out of new games to play.

Just finished South Park: The Stick Of Truth and it was incredibly fun, and I don't like turn based RPG's but this was killer fun start to finish.
Now I'm playing between Spintires, I was on the fence with this for a while but after watching tons of reviews and saw it was on sale during black Friday on Steam I said fuck it and picked it up. Shit is a riot! I have a Jeep I off road with it so this kind of gets me in the wheeling mood so I have that going for me. Just a fun time killer. I have yet to even do any actual missions, I just drive around, get stuck/unstuck and uncover the map and unlock the trucks. If I wasn't a off road enthusiast to begin with I don't know if I would be this into it.
And when I'm not playing that I started playing Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Only a few quests in but so far so good. HUGE fan of Borderlands 2 and 1 was great as well so had to give this a whirl.

Revisiting Half Life 2. Probably been 5 years since I last played it and it's aged very well for being 10 years old.

Also a KAB-EV1 user. I got lucky and picked mine up second hand. I have zero complaints. It's small, sturdy, easy to drain and does a fantastic job. And the replacement strips that go over the vacuum slot are cheap and they last a while before needing replacement too. You can see how well it does on a clear record. Even suction and the slot is cut to fit right to the run in groove on a standard LP, but also works perfectly fine on 10's and event the few 5's I own. I stand behind the clean brand new records idea as well. Basically see it as why the hell not. Also a chance to ditch the white paper sleeves they come in.

So jealous. I can grow one just fine, its not patchy or weird looking but it's just not thick enough to keep more than a couple weeks.

That's what I like to hear! First picked it up because of how much a friend praised the hell out of it.

Finished Bulletstorm today, game was shorter than I expected. Going by the Steam counter came in at 6.6 hours. Enjoyed the hell out of it. Next on the chopping block is Dishonored.

Got that when it first came out. Was fun and very vulgar, which made it interesting for the first few hours in. After that though I got very bored.
I'm on Act 5 right now and loving every minute of it. The great scenery and fast paced fights make it hard to put down. I picked it up a few months back for 5 bucks on sale, and just now getting to playing it.

Can't stand it.

I had that table for a while. Like above is is a damn good stater table. Even the supplied cart and pre-amp got the job done for a while. The broken clamp shouldn't be a huge deal as long as you don't bump into it hard enough to bounce it out and onto the platter. Could maybe cob job something to hold it down. I sold my table to a friend and he broke the clamp and still uses it to this day. I sold it like 5 years ago for the same price as this ad.

Been eyeballing Carmageddon: Reincarnation on Steam for quite a while. I don't like Early Access but when I saw them came with the first 2 Carmageddons I couldn't pass it up. First 2 are just loaded with nostalgia and shit I can't stop playing them. Even the new one, it still has the charm of the originals but in a modern appearance package. Yea it's a little sluggish and buggy and doesn't have full content but it's going to be amazing once it's officially released.

Started with a felt one and didn't like the static. Moved to a homemade cork one and it was too thin to get proper vta and I didn't want to layer it. Then picked up a 1/4 inch rubber OEM technics mat for a 1200, which I own, and I've been using that ever since.

This thread makes me want to buy new sneakers. So hard to find wide 14's though.

Those round toed abominations are amazing for a size 14 that needs extra width standard sneakers just don't give.

Paradigm 9se
I bought them maybe 10 years ago, loaned them to a buddy and recently got them back when I decided to put together a system for listening to vinyl. They sound great, especially in my 650 sq ft apt!
Yea!! I got the 7se's and see no reason to upgrade......ever.

I have the Less Than Jake - Slayer 7" that plays from the inside out. Well, I didn't know that so I put the needle on like normal. The needle immediately went into the mat and I freaked out.
Ha! I came here to post the same thing. Went right onto the rubber mat and proceeded to destroy the needle, luckily it was nearing the end of it's life anyways. I taped a little note to the plastic outer sleeve reminding me about that so I'll never do it again.

Bluetooth Speaker Recommendations?

I got the Flip's bigger brother the Charge and I absolutely love that thing. I would have gotten the Flip but I needed the extra battery life. I use it in my work truck that doesn't have a radio so I need a battery that can last a entire work shift and the Charge does just that. I've heard the Flip and it's a damn good speaker for the money.
