Anyone who thinks this place used to be less full of pissy humans is just being nostalgic. There's just always been a general cause for the core board members to rally around. The Anti-AbsolutePunk movement, the glory days of Virgil bashing and dislike of our new SRC overlords. The fact of the matter is, as much as its lame for some of us, a new group of pissy humans has taken over the actual record collecting part of this board and most of the older members do the majority of our conversation here in EE. I think my issue is had Mitch Moreland hit a 3 run homerun to take the lead in the 7th and done a big bat flip and pose - Bautista would have been the first hot head to punch him in the mouth as he rounded first base. But that's just my opinion of that team in general.

Anyone want to explain to me the St. Louis Rams? A team that seems always capable of playing up to the best teams in it's own division each year but then falls apart against very bad teams the next week. Happened twice this year already but has happened at least once each season since the new coaching staff took over.

Steve Smith Sr. is mad at Mike Mitchell for spearing him (even though it was Timmons). I'm totally with him in principle though. Watching the Steelers-Niners game I've never seen a defense (since perhaps the Ray Lewis Super Bowl era Raven's defenses) that tried so hard to establish "physicality" by hitting really hard rather than tackling well. Pretty sure Mitchell even hurt himself in the game trying to lower his helmet on a Niner's receiver rather than wrapping him up. Just dumb.
