  1. Cool. Thanks for writing him and posting the response. I can't imagine why it wouldn't be realistic. Lots of bands get stuff pressed...if selling enough to recoup costs is the problem, press 500 of each album. I really don't know the economics of getting a record pressed but I see it happening a lot with less popular bands, so....
  2. The HT in my town decided to stop stocking new vinyl. WTF is up with that.
  3. Well this is a serious bummer. FIF and friends need to get their ish together and stop making it difficult to get their stuff pressed. Makes me wonder how some bands out there get their catalog pressed...not to knock any specific bands but FIF was around for a long time and are definitely more deserving of vinyl releases than some bands that get releases, in my opinion.
  4. A google document? Sure. Whatever works best for these things.
  5. But I wonder how many of those were vinyl collectors... We should start a petition, get 500 names, and then leave it to Reese and Mike Park... That'd show 'em! Let's do it.
  6. I just looked through your collection of T&N vinyl. Very nice. I just bought the white version of MxPx's "Life In General" from a friend of mine for $20. Such a steal. I wish I knew how many of that color were made...also nabbed the black version of Teenage Politics for $20. Your copy of Teenage Politics looks like a darker shade of blue than others I've seen. Were there variations in the blue color for those?
  7. Yeah but they made like 4000 of them. I'm talking pressings of 500 or 1000. Numbers like those would ensure they're not sitting on their shelves for years.
  8. Yeah, totally. Maybe they too think it wouldn't sell. Oh, well. Let's just hope. Looking at what bands they currently press for full-lengths, I can't imagine there being any doubt FIF would sell well considering how long they were around and their popularity. Just sayin'.
  9. If that's true, they'd be super expensive. Well, Asian Man had their biggest pre-order EVER for the FIF DVD, over 2000 copies, so maybe they would sell? Yeah, why doesn't Asian Man do the FIF records? Makes sense to me.
  10. Looks like it's going to be tough to find an e-mail address for him, let alone one he actually checks...good idea though. I think our best bet is the BSS messageboard.
  11. I just posted a question to Reese Roper on the Brave Saint Saturn messageboard about the possibility of the FIF albums being released on vinyl. He's been answering questions on that board for awhile now, although he seems to get on less frequently than he used to so I have no idea if/when he'll answer my question. I'm very interested in any/all of them being released.
  12. I have the black pressing and it sounds good to me. I'll trade you my black pressing for your gray one if you want.
  13. Looking to get rid of that joy electric record? Read much?
  14. No, it wasn't. I believe Teenage Politics was MxPx's first full-length vinyl release although On The Cover may have come before it..
  15. Technically not T&N releases, though I'd LOVE to see a press of Anti-Meridian. Such a great album, and the artwork rocks. Would love to see that a couple inches bigger. Ah good call on those. Agreed on Anti-Meridian. And that's what she said.
  16. Excellent list. Mine are: Anberlin - Never Take Friendship Personal Anberlin - Cities Mae - The Everglow The Fold - Secrets Keep You Sick The Classic Crime - Albatross The Classic Crime - Silver Cord Fair - The Best Worst-Case Scenario Brave Saint Saturn - So Far From Home Brave Saint Saturn - The Light of Things Hoped For Brave Saint Saturn - Anti-Meridian Calibretto 13 - Enter The Danger Brigade ...among many others.
  17. probably anything else they could make a substantial amount of money off of. Hah yeah. But I'm curious if @dreamover has had contact with T&N in the form of them declining to license out other bands' releases...and if so, which bands were they?
  18. How on earth did they get the guitarist to provide a promo quote for this compilation? Didn't the band sue Victory?
  19. What are the odds Tooth and Nail will license Anberlin's albums to these guys and then start putting up 5 variants so I can go broke on them?
  20. I was ticked when they released the second pressing and it was just leftover colors. Although I suppose the fact that it wasn't autographed and 2000 of them are makes it rare, in a way.
