  1. Does anyone collect their bootlegs? I'd like to think I have every known one (minus YouTube rips), but the SLC show was one that I was unaware existed. Here are some of my favorite recordings: Brand New at Meow Meow Club, Portland, OR - 11/02/2002 Brand New at Fox Theatre, Boulder, CO - 11/20/2003 Jesse Lacey at The Downtown, Farmingdale, NY - 04/27/2004 (soundboard recording) Jesse Lacey at First Act Guitar Studio, Boston, MA - 4/24/2007 (soundboard recording) Brand New at UNSW Roundhouse, Sydney, Australia - 06/09/2007 Jesse Lacey & Kevin Devine at Swell-O-Venue, Jackson, MS, USA - 08/05/2007 (soundboard recording) Brand New at Southside Festival 2009, Neuhausen ob Eck, Germany - 06/20/2009 (soundboard recording) Brand New at House of Blues, Boston, MA - 11/18/2009 Brand New at Electric Factory, Philadelphia, PA - 04/27/2011 (soundboard recording) Brand New at Brubaker Auditorium, Grantham, PA - 04/30/2011 (soundboard recording) Brand New at House of Blues, Atlantic City, NJ - 12/31/2011 (Note: These are links to the setlists, not the audio itself. PM me if you want the audio.) Does anyone know of any bootlegs from last year's UK and Canadian jaunts? Also, has anyone ripped these shows?: Brand New at Playa del Sol, Cherry Hill, NJ - 01/25/2002 Brand New at County Fair Entertainment Park, Medford, NY - 08/31/2002 Despite only being YouTube rips, the sound on them is decent enough to warrant their addition to my collection. I just haven't taken the time to rip them myself. This is the video of the Meow Meow show. The audio recording I have is separate from it.
  2. Here is video of the Refused set (finally): http://www.youtube.com/user/RefusedCoachella?feature=watch
  3. The first numbers match the ones on mine, but I need a magnifying glass for the rest of the numbers. Here's what I was able to make out verbatim: 7658-I005-1(A) 13 365 5-495 18 7658-I005-1( 8-49579 WE RAS Obviously the b-side needs some work on the end because I doubt those are random letters. Will post again as soon as I find a magnifying glass.
  4. I don't know if this has been posted yet, but this was a message someone on AP.net received from the seller: "proof of authenticity would be that the code that the pressing plants puts on the matrix of the record is the same as all other brand new lps you can find. so they are the same. they were found in storage at the pressing plant. we think that they made more white, which they shouldn't have, and kept them in un-labelled boxes. at this point we don't know how many of each color are actually out there. but only 2200 jackets were made, so it's still pretty rare. - iodinerecords" I bought a copy last year, but haven't taken the time to compare with an "original" copy. Does someone own an original that would be willing to post that code?
  5. These stories are inspiring. Like so many others I've dreamed of doing this, but have been too afraid / not fully committed to it. This time next year I'll have the invisible shackles known as debt done away with. What better time to get busy living than 2012?
  6. Rx Bandits (how has no one mentioned them yet??) Brand New Radiohead Deftones Portugal. The Man Thrice Incubus Cursive Saves The Day Every Time I Die Motion City Soundtrack Thursday
  7. If it weren't for the lyrics this wouldn't be that bad of a song. However, the lyrics come off as awkward and juvenile -- even by Blink standards. It's better than "Up All Night", but that's not saying much. For me, they've always been the kind of band where it took only a few listens to really get into their new material -- I've struggled to get into these first two tracks. Can't say I expected a lot from this release, but these songs have left me completely underwhelmed.
  8. Some girl leaked a couple shoddy webcam nudes of Jesse a couple weeks before their shows in April. If you do some searching you can find them. I must have really lucked out on where I was then because this was easily one of the best shows of theirs that I've seen -- vocals aside.
  9. You're the first person from the show that I've heard that from. I was in the "second row" between Jesse and Vin. Everyone around me seemed to be enjoying themselves and taking care of each other; especially given the water debacle. I had no idea someone yelled "Hey Jesse, is anyone up?" until listening back to it though. Can't believe some people. It's almost as bad as the story I overheard earlier in the day about some girl in Allentown after the show going up to Jesse and asking for a picture. After he politely declined she had the nerve to ask him "well what about the nudes you took?".
  10. What's funny is that I thought during the show that they were recording it for a live album; and then I stumbled across this. Too good. It was easily the best crowd I've been part of outside of the solo shows. The setlist was impeccable to top things off. Listening back to it is great, but I had no idea Jesse's voice was so raspy during the actual show. His vocals are much better on the Electric Factory recording.
  11. For those interested, these two Brand New bootlegs recently surfaced -- although, to be frank, calling them bootlegs is an insult. These could be released as live albums. They're soundboard recordings that have been professionally mixed and mastered. Brand New - Electric Factory, Philadelphia, PA - April 27, 2011 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LHFY7VCI Sowing Season Millstone Vices Gasoline Bought A Bride Okay I Believe You, But My Tommy Gun Don't I Will Play My Game Beneath The Spin Light The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot Guernica Jude Law And A Semester Abroad Seventy Times 7 The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades Degausser You Won't Know The Archers Bows Have Broken At The Bottom Jesus Christ Soco Amaretto Lime Brand New - Brubaker Auditorium, Grantham, PA - April 30, 2011 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IZXR3X15 Sowing Season Millstone Vices Gasoline Bought A Bride Okay I Believe You, But My Tommy Gun Don't I Will Play My Game Beneath The Spin Light The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot Guernica Logan to Government Center Jude Law And A Semester Abroad Seventy Times 7 The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades Degausser You Won't Know At The Bottom Jesus Christ Soco Amaretto Lime Moshi Moshi I also recently took the time to break this Incubus bootleg up from a charity show they played in Chile last October. Again, calling it a bootleg is an injustice. It's a soundboard recording just like the Brand New ones that has been professionally mixed/mastered. Hope you enjoy. Incubus - Live In Santiago, Chile - 10/08/2010 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CKRKJ43F Megalomaniac Pardon Me Anna Molly Make Yourself Love Hurts Rogues Priceless When It Comes Mexico (acoustic; accompanied by Chilean strings orchestra) Runaway Train [brandon Boyd cover] (acoustic; accompanied by Chilean strings orchestra) Dig (acoustic; accompanied by Chilean strings orchestra) Drive (acoustic; accompanied by Chilean strings orchestra) Have You Ever Consequence Pendulous Threads Idiot Box Wish You Were Here ------------------------- Nice To Know You Surface To Air A Crow Left of the Murder
  12. Did anyone get a chance to hear their acoustic rendition of "This Could Be Love"? If not, check it out here: http://absolutepunk.net/artists/showlink.php?l=1750 I really like what they did with the track. The ominous sounding piano and revamped vocal deliveries, albeit minor changes, bring out even more in an already great song.
  13. Does this offer expire tomorrow then? I'm really considering getting the 1.3. *drool*
