  1. Yeah I should have been more specific. For what I have(ankles and wrist) it's not so bad. I'm pretty fucking nervous about doing the ribs. Honestly for me though my whole healing process is so much worse than the actual tattoo. The wrist and ankles aren't that bad at all... From my 2 hours of excruciating pain that i got on my ribs, i just can't wait to do the shading and color... The healing can be a son of a bitch, especially if its a larger piece...
  2. yeah, i doubt you don't have your ribs, collar bone or knee tattooed yet... i think you'll sing a different song then... i've gotten about 40 hours into my back piece and i'm only like 3-4 hours till its mostly completed... i also have about a 1/64 sleeve in progress with my right arm... it'll be fun when that finishes up...
  3. ding, ding, ding... you're the winner... i'll tell you what, everyone thought it sounded down right awful... i tried to convince one of the guys that there was something wrong with the speakers...
  4. tattoos hurt... and good ones cost a lot of money... i hope you found a good artist for your first tattoo
  5. Lifetime - S/t 2nd press - Blue Lifetime - S/t 2nd press - Orange
  6. Today's choices... I picked one of those just to listen to the WORST recording i've ever experienced... Let me tell you what, you can hear EVERY flaw in it... Can you guess which one?
  7. I'm not saying i haven't... That kind of stuff gets played on that system ALL THE TIME... its just FUN to listen to some stuff on it that isn't Steely Dan... I will say this though, The Tim Barry records sound really good on it...
  8. No dude, your Mom LOVES DP! Trust. When you're right, you're right...
  9. just like my mom... i like DP
  10. you can believe that all you want hahaha. dude, i don't just believe it, i live it... in my line of work i've had trainings from some of the best speaker manufacturers on the globe, as well as component makers... i've sat through the lectures on stereo imaging, separation, balance, dropping the noise floor, small room acoustics, etc, etc... and i've been able to HEAR the difference in what high quality equipment vs. low end shit sounds like... but look at it this way... i've listened to records i've been listening to for over a decade on that system, and heard NEW things while doing so... That's pretty exciting when you find something new in something you've loved for that long... be skeptical and uptight about it, that's fine... but don't diss me for having some fun...
  11. actually, i was wrong... I GOT PAID TO LISTEN TO THAT SYSTEM!!!! Fuck Yeah... I also get paid to design and implement them for stuck up people...
  12. first off... it is free for me to listen to it second... its FREE for me to listen to it. I've listened to all kinds of Punk records on it and some of them sound amazing, and some sound damn right awful... but hey, its fun to listen to records on equipment that cost more than the records cost to produce... yes, the full range of sound that they can create is amazing... and you know what its enjoyable to listen to the recordings... no matter how shitty they are... Why so serious??? plus has anyone here ever watched a VHS tape on a $60K projector with a 130" curved screen from 12 feet away??? i have... It does look like shit... but i have... and to comment on this.. I'm listening to a record on a record player... I'm pretty sure that's what it was made to do... lastly, i got to enjoy these records on some of the finest equipment produced to do so... that's a good enough reason for me to do it...
  13. Actually, there is a wicked good 180 gram Miles Davis vinyl...
  14. I work for a high end audio/video store. The Specs The Record Player is the McIntosh MT10 hooked to the McIntosh C2200 Vacuum Tube Amplifier connected with MIT Magnum Level 3 Interconnects. The PreAmp is connected to (2) McIntosh MC501 Power Monoblocks with MIT Shotgun Level 2 Balanced Audio Cables. The Preamp also has a MIT Magnum AC Power Chord. The Monoblocks go to the speakers with MIT Shotgun Level 1 Speaker Wire to Dynaudio C2s. All the equipment is plugged into a IT-REF20 Furman Power Conditioner / Line filter.
