  1. I dont know, Stallone might be pretty fun. With all the great faces that guy makes just smiling, its bound to be funny. And he has boobs too. Its like two birds with one stone.
  2. The cheap PS3 does not have backwards compatibility, but the 80 gig model does have backwards compatibility. BTW, not opting for the 80 gig model is pretty foolish, IMO (its also foolish to not opt for the XBox 360 Elite). that actually helps a lot. thanks.
  3. Some games work, some don't. I was under the impression that the PS3 had NO backwards compatibility whatsoever, though. Also, when the hell is MS going to get their Live shit nailed down? I'm sick of not being able to get online. I guess these are just questions I have to ask the workers at the game store. I dont know which I want.
  4. What exactly does "Partial Backwards Compatibility" mean.
  5. I've owned both and enjoyed the hell out of both machines, so I'd like to think I'm not a Microsoft or Sony fanboy. You really can't go wrong with either, as both will be loads of fun. That said, the PS3 is most definitely the stronger machine. It has built in Wi-fi, so no need for an ethernet cable for online (this is a big help for me as I do not have an ethernet jack in my room). The online network is FREE, while Microsoft makes you pay $50 for a year subsription to XBox Live. Oh yeah, there's a web browser on the PS3 that allows you to do surf the web, 360 doesn't have that. Beyond that, PS3 supports 1080P (360 cannot support this resolution) and has a Blu-Ray player built in. All in all, the PS3 offers one hell of a package and I enjoy mine more. The big drawback for the PS3 is it is a year younger than the 360 and therefore has a smaller library of games. That is about to change, as there are a lot of good games on deck for the PS3 (including Metal Gear Solid). There are a lot of really good games for both systems (Call of Duty 4 is a must own, and Grand Theft Auto is coming soon, and theres Guitar Hero if thats your thing) so basically it boils down to what exclusive releases interest you the most. 360 has Halo and if thats your cup of tea then you definitely should go with that platform. 360 also has Bioshock and a couple other exclusives that I'm not remembering right now. PS3 has Ratchet and Clank, which in my honest opinion, is some of the most fun you can have playing a video game. Seriously, don't let the cute cartoony look fool you, its a blast. There's also MGS coming soon. Hope that helps. As I said, both systems are a lot of fun but in the end I wound up keeping the PS3. Are either of them backwards compatable?
  6. I just saw 3 Ninjas. That was not a good movie. However, I saw the trailer for Prince Caspian and that movie looks great.
  7. There's no rumor. What you're talking about is that Microsoft said they would release a blu-ray player if the market demanded it. So in that case, if they did release it that just means that I would have to spend more money to upgrade it in the first place. Thought they both sound great I have always loved Sony's playstations, so I might be leaning towards that, they are just so expensive right now.

  9. I dont have any of these, but i have to ask, should I get a 360 or a PS3? Im looking to get one or the other, I just dont know which one.
  10. Oh yeah! Simpsons avatars would be awesome. I could be down with Simpsons, however Nascar would be pretty funny for a week at least.
  11. That's my vote. However, I would probably still keep them separate after the marriage, but can share them. Like, I can listen to hers and she can listen to mine. Aggreed. However I would say never combine, but share. You can listen to hers and she can listen to yours, but only under supervision. The sucky thing about washington is the moment she uses anything that belongs to you, it becomes 50% hers, including your house the moment she moves in. So if you let her listen to your records, they become her records also. Which means that if you guys break up, and she smashes your records she wont be in trouble with the law, because they were technically her records also. Fucked up if you ask me. Point being, dont let her move in.
  12. +found out I have worked sixteen overtime hours with six more tomorrow which means my check is going to be huge. Record shopping spree here I come. +with money I will buy a ticket to the second Neurosis/Converge show in February.
  13. Aww. I don't say this often (gotta keep up my manly persona, right?), but that was cute. I have to agree, I wish I had said that.
  14. not quite as bad but getting there slowly. She is actually on this message board also. Just started two days ago.
  15. I feel like I work so hard and instead of me getting my checks I just sign them over to Virgil.
  16. + won Bane-Forked Tongue EP for 4.99 - lost Refused-the shape of punk to come LP at 81.00
  17. I used to ride a bike everywhere, but now that I live in seattle i usually just walk everywhere, I do however own two of them.
  18. And the only way you won is by cheating. I kicked your ass when I wasnt helping you.
