Why are we jumping all over him for breaking the law by stealing. Dont most of you guys carry weed and or other illigal drugs on you at most times. I dont know the law but which is worse in the eyes of cops. I know when I was a kid and I got caught shoplifting they gave me a ticket made me do community service and I was done, where as I have known lots of people to actually get put in shackles and taken away in a cop car for having drugs on them. i dont know, to me it just seems silly. All of this.

I dont condone stealing, but I also dont condone drugs and I wasnt on the ecstacy site bashing people that do it. A lot of people are hurt over drugs just like they are hurt over stealing. We need to stop bashing each other and just have fun.

I think I love you. But more seriously, 1 + 2 I am seriously stoked on. Both are reasonably priced ways to get your hands on some cool music, and a great way of checking out new things. If it turns out you don't like it, you end up with stuff at least worth trading. Part of what makes Vinyl Collective so great, besides carrying a lot of cool stuff, having good prices and excellent service, and supporting a company that seems to do it 'for the right reasons' (whatever those may be), is the whole "COLLECTIVE" aspect - anything that involves giving us (as purchasers) more of a say and facilitates more of a relationship that runs a little deeper than MERCHANT - CUSTOMER I am all for. As for #3, it's hard for me to have an opinion without more specifics. I think a lot of people that are regular VC customers do feel a sort of 'personal investment' in it, like we do with some bands - we want to see it succeed and thrive, so we bang the drum loudly and try to get other people to shop here. It's totally a reciprocal relationship, where the better the company is doing, the better it can do for us. I guess the logical next-step of that might be monetary investment. I wholeheartedly agree whith this. I'm sure we are all ready to do whatever we can to make VC the best it can be.
