Hey all, So I've got my Dad's old JVC AL-F30 turntable, but he didn't give me the clear plastic cover that came with it. Obviously I don't want to get a new turntable since this one was my dad's, but I can't handle the dust getting all over my records anymore. Does anyone know where I can just purchase a replacement cover for the turn table? I've tried needle doctor and other sites but I haven't had any luck so far.

Yeah man, the ebay posting wasn't very cool. I couldn't make it to record store day either and the menzingers aren't going to play anywhere near me for months. I don't think its too unreasonable for me to buy my favorite record of 2010 on colored vinyl if its something i've been wanting and waiting for months to get.That said, listing it under sea otters was fucking hysterical and thank you for the awesome record toby.

Yeah I definitely get what you mean. Although I definitely think that P + P put out the most beautiful records once they actually get to me.

It's been next week for the past 2 months. Plus I have Rust Belt Lights and Red City Radio in my order...so what does it mean for my order in general. RBL is chopped liver? So yeah, I finally (after just over 2 months) got my SRC order. Instead of shipping me my copy of Somedays you get the thunder by the gateway district, they gave me some bullshit album by a band called pollyanna or something. I'm not even sure I have the patience to deal with sending it back and getting the right one at this point. I'll probably just order it from the label or from some company that isn't mind numbingly useless.

vinnie told me this was supposed to mail out early this week. So in theory these are already on their way.

Oh I see. I've never had any problems here and all my trades are smooth so I guess I've just had a better experience here than some. Plus everyone seems to like good music here, which is worth a lot.

P + P may be super slow, but goddamn is their vinyl beautiful.

I ordered about 200 dollars worth of records a month and a half ago from SRC during their 20% off sale and have yet to actually receive any of my records. They said they were waiting on two records to arrive but were going to ship out the rest of them right away. They gave me a tracking number about 2 weeks ago but all it tells me is that the electronic shipping info was received. I'm starting to think that they screwed me and am really anxious to get my 200 dollars worth of records in. I definitely won't be ordering from SRC again, I just assumed that they would be reputable people because they are affiliated with VC but I guess I was wrong.

I think if there's a single No Idea release that deserves something fancy... it's RAR. That sucker should be pressed on solid gold and the insert should be printed on recycled pages of the bible

Ordered mine today, I love mitch clem's comics. His forum was the best place for me to discover new and exciting music that I'd never heard before, it really bums me out that it got shut down because people are immature. Hopefully this means he's back into producing awesome, funny comics now because that shit would be awesome. One year he was apparently at SDCC the same time I was and had no idea, or I would have totally blown off whatever else I was doing to annoy him and talk bands.
