  1. Like I said, if I get my copy and it magically has none of the aforementioned defects, I'd be happy to pay for it. Not really sure where you're going with this.
  2. I ended up going with a pair of RHA MA750s. Excellent fit and quality, pretty well balanced with a slight emphasis on the bass. I bought a like new pair from warehouse deals and for the price, I'm happy with my choice.
  3. It's not about getting free shit. It's about paying for something that works.
  4. yea. i told them that there is a known manufacturing error with the c/d side. he researched it and offered to refund me. it was pretty great. in fact, i've already promised myself that when it arrives i'll listen to it and if it, somehow, is not defective, i'll contact amazon and offer to pay for it again. i am 100% loyal to that kind of service.
  5. just had the chat convo with amazon, and they refunded me just like you said. what a relief!
  6. I just went to jump on it. $40 shipped is a bit too much to drop on a 7".
  7. good idea! thanks. easy as it sounds, it never dawned on me that they'd take care of it since it's a pressing issue.
  8. damnit. i popped in here because i was stoked to see that my ( ) from amazon.co.uk had shipped, only to find out that it is a bad press. it probably isn't worth dealing with returning it to the uk, huh? unless i refuse delivery and it goes back on its own. any ideas?
  9. i am dying laughing. this is the best description of sun kil moon's newer material. not that it really detracts from how great it is, because it IS really good. there are some hilariously similar lyrical comparisons. i like just about anything kozelek puts out in a sincere way. but yea. definitely wesley willis.
  10. Also to be noted, Mark has apparently been in the city directly north of me to record in the past 2 months. He'd be one of the weirdest dudes to have a beer with.
  11. that was one really irresponsible bump, seafoam. edit: careless. what a let down.
  12. I'm thrilled that I don't feel like I'm missing anything not having gotten that The Possum single.

  14. Where's petgrief!? I need details. This takes total priority over knapsack reissues, unless this is far down the line.
  15. Oh yea man. And the best/worst feeling is the, "where the fuck was I when this was going on?" Moment.
