  1. you are operating on a whole separate level right now.
  2. if you can't get yr pecker to load, you got bigger problem than we.
  3. ...just making some casual banter whilst waiting on line. you introverts with your headphones are what's wrong with america.
  4. yea, kinda. i think by virtue of being hifi components cassette players aren't quite as difficult to find / sometimes you can get lucky at garage sales / thrift stores and get em cheap.
  5. bummer man. those things are becoming increasingly difficult to find / kinda stupidly expensive.
  6. or have a tiered system where people can unlock different levels of posts based on their post count.
  7. High hopes for online leftovers. The computers at Rough Trade said there were 2 somewhere in the store. I scoured the place hoping someone ditched it in the LP section or something. Got nothin'. Thanks for the hopes.
  8. I talked to a guy at Rough Trade NYC today who gave me some interesting info. Apparently anyone who ordered the box set got 0 or 1 shipped. He told me I will likely be the only person he talks to to have bought one directly from a record store. He also said that RTNYC got 1 copy, but haven't sold it yet. They're trying to figure out how to get it to someone who really loves the music fairly. He considered they might sell raffle tickets and give proceeds to charity. Pretty cool dudes over there. I'm thrilled I found it. Just wish I could've found that Bonnie Prince Billy split.
  9. Don't they also have a song recorded for a split with Minus The Bear that never got released?
  10. Did the band end on bad terms? I thought they kinda just fizzled out, don't remember any dramz.
  11. I would back this, help fund it, pack the records, etc. I think second nature holds them pretty tight, though. If you could swing it, the world would be a better place. Were you ever into curlupanddie? I think you'd be the best person to press their 2 EPS as a 2x10" and really knock the already awesome art out of the park.
  12. Derek + others on the fence - This release is particularly special. The two bands really come together and show off what they're individually good collaboratively. The EP jams straight through. Poetic, aggressive, a little dancy. Can't go wrong. The breakup of TAAS, IMO, is one of the worst things to happen to hardcore / punk / aggressive music / whatever genre you want to lump them into. They were really doing things no one else would touch and did it right. They also killed live.
