    Huh?

Tom was arrested after the album was already recorded, then booted from the band.

They recorded it as a trio PRIOR to his arrest because he wasn’t involved with any of it due to his own personal issues, which lead to him being kicked out of the band during the tour when he was arrested for theft.... which all happened after the album was already recorded.

"As they wrote on facebook statement after the Capone's arrest, they recorded it as a trio..." . i missed a comma.....now i hope it's more clear....Anyway like i said it's just my opinion and now i will stop to insist on my position.....

Was not a consequence of them deciding to play live as trio.... Capone was supposed to play on the record but skipped on a bunch of writing sessions.

The album was already in the bag before that tour.

Sorry but what you wrote seems confirm my idea...As they wrote on facebook statement after the Capone's arrest they recorded it as a trio, so my idea is that Walter add some second guitar parts, but deciding to play live as a trio he didn't record too much parts and they put them low in the mix....Then Capone came back to play shows but only when the record was finished....

You don't need a 2nd guitar player to add a 2nd guitar part

True, but in Interiors there are not much 2nd guitar parts, often are under in the mix and onestly i miss a lot the Capone solos in it....Songs like Fire This Time and Normal Love are great songs but  sound "empty" to me and they could sound a way better with proper 2nd guitar parts in....That's probabily because when you play them live like a trio the difference could be too evident....Interiors has not their tipical wall of sound but this is obviously just my opinion....

Sadly, no Capone. It’s unfortunate but ultimately he did it to himself. He wouldn’t even show up to the writing of Interiors, then his whole theft situation.

If it's not Capone i still hope they have a new guitar player in for this record, because i love the sounds and the songs of Interiors but i really miss a proper second guitar in most of the songs...

So what's the deal with the new Outlander?  It's a 2-track album?  The first song released as a single is great, as to be expected, but we have to wait until June 25th to hear the other song?  Is it 30 minutes long or something?  Is this a proper album or just an EP?  Don't really get it.

This is what is written on Chruch Road web store: "Recent Church Road Records signees, Outlander have today announced their upcoming EP Sundowning / Unconditional - due for release on June 25th" The first track is 8 minutes long and if i remember correctly the second is around 16/17.....
