this is definitely one of those more manageable storms. everyone actually prepared for it which is nice. give it a few months, you know when everyones way to used to the snow and the city runs out of money. then we're fucked.

i met jcamps. he's a good dude. and suck it up bitch! i walked home yesterday in the thick of it from work. my hoodie froze over. when i took it off, the hood stayed up and everything. i was also outside snowblowing the side walks all day and it was soaked from that (still is) so that might be why haha.

ever since i got a job i've actually been feeling productive. haha.

its so funny watching things spread from one message board you post on to the next, to the next, to the next!

hot knife! brilliant! i'm about to go pick one up right now from the hardware store. faith im gonna play around with connecting it and let you know how it went for me and what works best. im assuming i'm just going to cut away the rest of the tape on the front side and just tape it on using it on both sides. seeing as im being a horrible person and using a good piece of vinyl for this, im also going to modify the jacket itself to hold the notebook, as well as use the insert to decorate the inside of the back cover. while also using the left over vinyl to put in the shape of a heart on the back cover. im so excited to do this!

While I see the benefits of exposing their fans to new bands that may have influenced Fall Out Boy (fuck I admit it, I like Take This To Your Grave), I a) feel like they butchered the fuck out of the songs (even though they are covers and should have their own spin on them, those are all fucking classics) and it never fucking happens that way anyway. The original band never really gets the credit. Kids will hear it on the internet somewhere where no credit is given to the OG artist. So its pretty pointless. Plus, do you really think the people who were in Lifetime, Jawbreaker, and Gorilla Biscuits really want Fall Out Boy playing their songs at shows that cost as much as buying one copy of an album from all three of those bands?

I started work on one with a 12"sampler album i got on record store day. The two biggest problems I think I'll run into with this is finding the best way to cut it (i'd just use a jig saw but i kind of dont have access to one) and also, keeping the vinyl itself from getting scratched to shit.
