That would be a super douche move. I always hated customers who returned their stuff then asked immediately to buy it back at sale price. Meh, I don't see a problem with it.

Maybe they just purposely kept alot of the original press aside, because they know that Brand New fans pay alot for the records? I mean that's what I would do if I had the license. If I knew there were 1000 super fans, I probably would not sell any outside of ebay

But I DO agree with you 100% on preorders. I'm fine with people buying whatever they want on ebay or by trading, but I don't like it when labels don't limit 1 per customer on limited releases that sell out on day 1. I've missed more than a few releases that I really wanted, probably in large part because of this.

TC is an idiot. I don't collect colors because I don't see that as worthwhile, but anyone just be able to buy whatever they want without being guilt-tripped. It's not his fault at all, if anything blame La Dispute for not ordering a second pressing on black after this one sold out.

Did colour sell out of North American distros? I checked the day this thread was made and there wasn't anything left, and all the other links are Europe, I think.

Likes: Whatever is most limited Dislikes: Black (exception: when it is most limited) Hence why that heart shaped erg single sold out in black, before it did in red. But me personally, I like splatters if they colors are different enough that it doesn't turn out as some purply grey mess, or better yet anything pretty and out of the ordinary. And black if the colours are bleh / already sold out.

it's the flatliners/snips split, and its on the flatliners side which is the side I'd most likely want to listen to

I just got a bunch of mail order records in, and one of them has a black hair molded into the vinyl.. Both my housemates are telling me I should phone in and ask for one without a defect because it's disgusting, and while it doesn't bother me too much, I admit its pretty much all you'll see if you are trying to admire the nice blue/clear mix If it was you, would you ask for an exchange or just deal with it? :-/ edit: pic added a few posts below

is it possible to track most international orders from us to canada? I've made orders from noidea, deadbroke, and a few smaller distros, and don't think I've ever gotten emails with a tracking id. Is that id normally given via your paypal receipt? I'm just a bit worried because I'm going on vacation, and I'm not sure they will be held or just dropped on my doorstep to freeze over if I'm not there. I know UPS will hold it, don't know about the cheaper international orders, didn't notice a specific branding on any of them. Does Canada Post/most mail services make you sign for packages?

Well he plays at my college all the time, and used to come by on tours all the time cause I'm in Ontario. So I'll check his threads I guess just because I've had so much exposure. He was alright when I was like 13 lol
