  1. damn it must be my body. yeah my form is good. i know shaun t says if you cant touch the floor then just put your hands on your hips. i must have short arms or something then lol oh well
  2. Have you been taking it for a year straight? It helps to take time off from them, like a month or two on then one off. Is this Insanity mostly a cardio program or is there weight training too? no not a year straight. ive rarely been on my pre-work. last week was the first time ive been on it since october. i just remember it being more intense back then. its not a big deal tho. it still helps. ive heard good things about muclepharm so ill check that out. ever since kevin recommended to take a pre-work before an Insanity session it has helped me perform better. im not flexible at all. kevin, since you've been doing this for over a month now have you seen your stretches/flexibility improve? i still do it, i just cant touch the floor with my legs straight or ankles on those lunge ones. just curious if over time my body will get with it or its just my body and its never going to happen.
  3. I'm doing my week 2 day 2 tonight. what are you guys taking for your pre-workout? I want to try something new. I'm taking NO-xplode right now but im not really into it anymore. I dont feel as cracked out and pumped as i use to when i started taking it a year ago.
  4. thats awesome dude. im still with it and im doing day 6 in the morning. im stoked its the same as day 2. i physically feel a lot better then i did on day 2 so im pretty excited to take on that workout again. i can tell my cardio is already improving, so im already glad ive started this program. i cant really tell if i notice a difference in my appearance yet after this first week. i have noticed that my calves have gotten bigger. i had tooth pick legs on day 1 and now i can clearly tell theres some muscle on them now. yocasey, have you noticed anything new about yourself either physically or with your appearance yet?
  5. so i had a setback yesterday. i bitched out and couldn't get myself to do day 3. i know no excuses, but i was being a pussy all day about my sore legs. good news is, i just finished up with day 3 right now. i feel disappointed that i threw myself off schedule like this, but i plan on going hard the rest of the week. im still motivated and my legs/body as a whole, feel a lot better today and still do after finishing this day 3. casey: since i took yesterday off, im going to do my day 6 on sunday and start week 2 with you on monday. don't cheat yourself like i just did, and stay motivated man. only a few more days til that off day.
  6. My day 2 was the same man. Im still so sore from day 1 so ive been rubbing icy hot on my legs and back all day. It helped to put some on right before the workout. ive also been chugging some NO-xplode (pre-workout drink) and that seems to help get me in the mood to start the workout. Im doing my day 3 later tonight so hopefully it goes better. Im hoping by the start of week 2 my cardio is improved to where i can actually hang with shaun t during the workout. i had to take way to many breaks. any drill that involves jumping or squats (especially both) is whats been killer for me.
  7. thats awesome dude. thanks for the food/time breakdown. it's cool of you to give advice to the rest of us who are just starting out. the program is very intimidating and after my day 1 experience, im ready to stay fuck this, but knowing it gets better by the end of the week will motivate me enough to finish this. i'll keep checking this thread to see how others are doing and reporting my updates.
  8. thanks for the advice guys and you weren't kidding... im sore as dick today! calf's and lower back are hell right now. are you sticking with the advised diet or doing your own thing? and are you noticing that your losing weight? or the weights gone up, but in lean muscle? ive been using bodybuilding.com too for about a year now and i love them. always fast shipping and great prices. i need to check out that post workout recovery supplement. im only on gold standard whey protein. i have some N.O.-explode i use before the gym but didn't think about using it before insanity. im definitely going to need it to get me thru todays workout.
  9. i just finished my day 1 fit test today and oh my lord, what did i get myself into. i considered myself to be pretty fit for my size (5'10 159lbs, go to the gym about 3 times a week) but during some tests i could only do like 13 when shaun t's homies said they were doing 48 on their day 1. how was your day 1? and how many days into the program did it take for the exercises to become less challenging so you could do more of them effectively? one last thing. are you taking any supplements and/or protein while your doing this program? thanks

  11. I went premium. Haven't logged in in a couple days but it wouldn't let me watch spring training through my ps3. They still haven't "reset" it or whatever for this year. Could only watch last season's games. I have premium too and had it last year for my ps3. It's awesome. The spring training games are avaliable for the ps3 on march 20th.
