  1. The Jealous Sound and Knapsack are two of my all time favorite bands. I grabbed a test and have one of the first LP as well.
  2. On Burnt Toast vinyl: The Jealous Sound : A Gentle Reminder We’re proud to announce that Burnt Toast Vinyl will be issuing vinyl for The Jealous Sound’s forthcoming album A Gentle Reminder. After a U.S. tour with Sunny Day Real Estate last year, Blair Shehan, Pedro Benito, Bob Penn, Nate Mendel, and Josh Staples (bass on 2 tracks) recorded 10 new tracks in Los Angeles’ Studio 606 with producer John “Lou” Lousteau. Nate took a break from his day job as Foo Fighters bass man to lay down bass on eight tracks and Josh added his bass skills on a couple tracks. The album was mastered by multi-Grammy award winning engineer Gavin Lurssen. Test pressings (limited) and vinyl are available for pre-order in the btv online store now. Digital download codes will be emailed on 31 January to coincide with the digital release. Stream “Your Eyes Were Shining” at Soundcloud. http://www.burnttoastvinyl.com/new/

  6. I bought one back in April to use for reading on the train (I got color so I could read comics too) but then I realized reading on the train gives me a headache and so I haven't really used it. I've got a case for it too.
