And as a 4 seed to make it to the cup is very commendable and shows just how good the Pens are/have gotten. we've done this internet dance enough to know that certain people actually have a grasp on the game, and can appreciate a good solid series; like this one is sure to be. of course there will be the hometown bias (see above) but we all know it's in good fun and when there is a good point made we can respect each other enough to say so. no one is gonna change my mind about the outcome, just like im not gonna change a pens fan into believing the inevitable SO BRING ON THE FUCKING SERIES. PLAYOFF HOCKEY IS MY HEROIN. and hey, at least there's no more thousands of WSH bandwagon fans shouting that a team/player sucks....or SHOOOOOOT!!

let me break down the next few weeks of this thread: 1. people will talk about why the pens deserve it, and why they've gotten better and learned from their mistakes. 2. a few wings fans will comment on how it looks likes a repeat of last year. 3. someone (likely a fan of a team that was knocked out) will call someone a fag. 4. repeat 1-3 as the series goes on. (wings in 6, pens are good, but not good enough .)

so i saw this in the theater and really enjoyed it. ive never been in to star trek, never had i watched any of the TV shows, or movies (expect Wrath of Khan a few years back). so i decided to see if there were any of the original 1960s episodes online. and yes, cbs.com has all three season, all episodes of the original star trek series, and my deduction: holy fucking shit! the original series is fucking amazing. the writing is great, the actors are great, and leonard nimoy is a badass. if you havent seen them yet, i really do recco it, as someone who was never into it before, the original series is top notch. and yes, shatner overacts, but it's still great. i did however try to watch Star Trek: Generations the movie they made i think in 94. HORRIBLE. i turned it off 40 minutes into it. I can dig patrick stuart, but fuuuuuck, it was unbearable.

and with drapes out, hands down the best face off guy on the team in playoffs... IMO gonna try to get a ticket to game 5, details to follow.
