  1. The color of vinyl has no relevance to sound quality. Black vinyl is in fact, colored vinyl.
  2. This is my first FS thread here, but I have over 400 positive feedback on eBay (musiccollectors) and have been selling on the Steve Hoffman forum for a while now as well. I always use my PayPal account for sales so everyone is protected, and it's tied to my eBay/SH sales. Some LPs from my collection that don't get any play, and I feel like VC folks might have interest in them: 1. Sonic Youth - EVOL Limited pink vinyl reissue from Because Sound Matters Opened & played once. A small amount of surface noise--but uh, you probably won't notice on this record. NM all around. Kept in original plastic sleeve. $22.00 2. Mount Eerie - Wind's Poem 2x clear vinyl LP Was never "sealed", but in poly sleeve. Played once. NM all around. $20.00 3. Electric Wizard - Black Masses 2x black vinyl. UK release on Rise Above - different cover/art than US release. Never played - mint condition $29.00 (you won't find another new copy this cheap) Shipping is $4.00 per in CONUS. Shipping via First Class to Canadian friends (get rate at USPS.com from 97006 zip). USPS Priority to everywhere else in the world. PayPal only, please. PM me with questions or interest.
  3. ditto. that was pretty much my experience with them when ordering that one too. worst i've had with a label, actually. makes me second guess ordering this.
  4. Can't wait for Kill for Love to be available on vinyl. Taking a long time!
  5. IDIB has excellent prices on their vinyl. of the two albums that I own (Glass Candy & Chromatics), they also sound quite nice. If you're on the fence about these, order them.
  6. Can anyone comment on the sound of these represses? "Digital Remaster" sounds like a joke and I'd hate to waste my money on that.
  7. Just got this limited edition in the mail and gave it a spin. The vinyl is really nice--super clear. The album itself: just OK. Really loses steam on the second side.
  8. The two UO here frequently have silly clearances as well. The store in Portland has virtually nothing right now, but the shop in nearby Tualatin still has some good deals. Picked up James Blake S/T & Peaches S/T (pink vinyl) for $9.99 each. They still have a couple SP reissues for the same price.
  9. Sacred Bones Records is proving to be a real pack of jerks. I ordered an LP on the 4th of this month, and after two weeks decided to contact them (they only have an e-mail option) and neither e-mail was answered. I've now opened a PayPal claim and they haven't responded to that. Mark this as the first time I've ever had an issue with ordering from a label.
