  1. I went to the show at Red Rocks last night and it was awesome. I bought the poster before the show and the merch guy rolled it for me and put it in the tube. I didn't pull it out and look at it until it got home because it was raining for most of the show. When I pulled it out it there were really heavy creases all over. :( I guess I'll try and email Third Man and see if I can get a replacement. Anyone had this happen before?

Might have better luck contacting the artist and explaining the situation. They would hopefully sell you one from their artist release (assuming they have one).

  2. And probably to make sure people are not playing them for an extra copy.

That makes sense and I didn't think about that, guess I'm just a little too naive. A would have figured the photos I sent them of the issue would be enough as mine had an extra label printed on the b-side which I normally wouldn't care about, but to try and play the label would require it to be pressed properly. I showed them photos and it was quite clear it was defective. I don't care too much, only a bit of time wasted to pack it up and bring it to the post office. Just a waste of $16 on their end. I remember one of the early ones came crushed on all 4 corners and back then they just sent me out a new package.

  3. just wanted to give credit to third man's excellent customer service...took an extremely long time for the vault to exchange my faulty lazaretto split...when they finally did, they sent me an empty sleeve and forgot a replacement record

finally received my record and they threw in the vault blunderbuss demos 7" as an extra...good guys over there

im sending back a faulty lazaretto today as well. it cant make sense financially for them to ask for defective records to be sent back, so i wonder if there were a bunch of complaints and they want to inspect the records and see if they can find out why (besides poor quality control at united)

  4. A friend mentioned this morning he thought they oversold it by 1/3, so probably a lot of orders will be canceled. Pure speculation tho. Paranoia.

I'm pretty sure mine will be cancelled. Had it in my cart with about 30 left, credit card was denied for some reason, tried on my computer but was sold out by then. Still had it in my cart on my phone so I checked out with PayPal and it worked. But that would have been well after it was sold out. Guess it depends on whether they go by when the order was processed (likely) or when people put it in their cart.

  5. what details are you requesting? these are vinyl reissues of some classic albums. they are for sale. buy them.

Are they re-mastered? Are they the exact same in a new package as the German re-issues from a few years back (which I already own)? Do they come with anything new that makes them worthwhile? Unfortunately PopMarket shipping to Canada is close to $50, so that deal isn't worth it. Might as well wait for people to get them and hear some reviews before spending money unnecessarily.

  6. They had king buzzo vol 1 & 2 on red, white and blue. They also had tri colors of the queen, David bowie and tales of terror 9 clowns of the apocalypse. A couple of the sugar daddies. The fantomas one for sure. All of which were $30 each I think

    'm forgetting a 7" at least.

Start by saying great show. They had the three tributes posted above plus Melvins 1983 Gaylord, I Told You I Was Crazy, Melvins 1983 and King Buzzo Sugar Daddy's. And vol 2 and 3 of King Buzzo solo. 30 each for most, 40 for Buzzo solo. Might be missing some things.
  7. Update:  Amazon Canada has this for CAD $76.98 with free shipping, which converts to only $70 US.   This is a STEAL.

Wasn't going to buy one, as from what I can tell, it's the same songs in multiple formats, but for $50 more than the cost of the album itself, why not.

  8. It's the first one I'm not getting. While cool for those that don't have these, it just feels like an easy cop out for them, re-releasing singles that can all be easily found, and then re-releasing them on black vinyl after. So it comes in a nice box worth $10 is not enough for me. For anyone that wants the originals, they can all be found on Discogs.
