records are meant to be listened to, not to sit on a shelf never being opened or played. they aren't action figures from the 70s.
ill never understand why people buy records and don't listen to them.
you bring up a great point. action figures from the 70s were never meant to be played with. they were meant to be sealed and re-sold on pawn stars 40 years later.

What do you want money wise for the Jeff Ty Segall split? I have nothing trade wise you are looking for.
-
I'm pretty sure Rotate This sells them for a buck a piece. With that being said, I have 10-20 used ones sitting in my room right now. If you want them and can pick them up they are yours for free. I don't plan on selling anything in the near future and always have more coming in. PM me to work something out.

I'm in the process of buying my first ones now. Never really had an interest, but jokingly asked a label when placing an order and now we are working out a deal.
I'm just curious how everyone gets theirs. Is it a matter of knowing contacts at the band or the label and simply asking with each new release?

so mine is signed and numbered...is that normal?
I think so. The first 100 pre-orders are signed, but my number is like 284. Probably just signed a 100 of the 1000.
I imagine those are the ones he signed and gave to 4AD, and then all the record stores that had listening parties got signed grey ones. Or he just signed a random assortment of all kinds and they ended up everywhere.

Does anyone know a store selling the numbered version of the 7"?
I now have the grey version (signed) and the black version (not numbered).
I am looking for a store selling the numbered version, but the 4AD site is out, and Amazon doesn't really tell you which version they have in stock (4AD said they do, but I don't want to risk it as they want $13 for it).
Any help is appreciated. I don't think 1000 should be sold out by now, considering there are two other versions.

Not quite what you are looking for, but I figured I'd chime in anyways. The Arcade Fire store is selling the original UK press (2005) for a fair price: http://www.arcadefirestore.com/browse/music/?id=357

Never ordered anything from third man records at all. Can someone explain how the random tri color works?is it for the first that order or totally random?
Random pre-orders
But I seem to recall they try and give them to people who don't live close to Nashville as Nashville locals get all the cool stuff anyways
-
Shipping to Canada is only $3.30. Around here it would be marked up to at least 7.99 plus tax in stores anyways, so it's basically the same price.
-
I got a copy today from a local shop for pre-ordering the LP there. Mine is the US version on grey vinyl.
-
Didn't have enough cash unfortunately
-
As a note, it is a double 7", selling for $15. They are numbered out of 1000, not 500 as they originally said (unless they printed the sleeves wrong).
And the show kicked ass.

$150 on Desert Sessions 1 to finish the set
-
Price has dropped to include any and all offers you may make. Just looking to get rid of this at a reasonable price.
-
It is number 2670 for anyone interested.
-
I'm going to buy all 500 tomorrow and make a killing after.
(I just hope they have them ready for tomorrow to be honest).

On discogs you say that the records are playing fine, does that mean that the box isn't sealed anymore?
Unsealed.
-
Will do, thanks.
Sleeves NM
Vinyl VG+
Box G+
I never use the grading system to buy records, unless they are cheap and I don't mind getting burned. It is completely judgemental and although it is supposed to be standardized, I've seen everything under the sun rated from VG to NM in varying conditions. I agree it is a lot, but when I spend that kind of money I request detailed photos, which are far more accurate than a rating system. And I said I will provide photos to anyone who is interested.
As for the number, I can't remember offhand. I will post that when I get home tonight. It is something in the 2000s.
And I am open to accepting offers, the price isn't firm.

I can grab an extra or two at the Toronto show if everyone isn't already covered. Shipping would be cheaper from American counterparts though.

Currently selling used copy of The Killers - Hot Fuss 11x7" boxset on Discogs, but will sell direct here.
I am asking for $100 plus shipping.
It is shipping from Canada so we are subject to Canada Post's rates.
Discogs listing is here: http://www.discogs.com/buy/Vinyl/Killers-Hot-Fuss/49263562
PM me if interested and require photos. There are surface scratches on the bottom of the box, and the corners have faded a bit over time.
The individual sleeves and 7"s are all fine.
This is the cheapest one on Discogs and below the historical median price of it.
Cheers

Wish you posted a week ago when I bought the standard black copy. Oh well, good luck trading.
-
Can you provide Discogs links for the actual Raconteurs 7"s? There are multiple versions (US, UK, etc). I am interested if I don't already have those versions.
-
Just add titles you want to your wantlist and sign up for email alerts. For every 100 emails you get with bad prices, you'll get one with a great price and be the first to grab it. Well worth it if you ask me.

If I remember correctly, the 12" is available as a standard black 12", but the inner 7" is not available elsewhere. I would do my best to open it without cracking it, but would definitely open it for the 7".
FS: Queens of the Stone Age - S/T $15.00 ppd.

Can you tell me if it is this Domino or Ipecac release? Should be able to tell from the back. Thanks.
