Saw this on pirates press, The runner up this week is probably one of the coolest records we’ve seen in a while. THE GAY BLADES went all out on this one with a POP-UP gatefold jacket!! Not only that, but the LP includes a 7” as well…God-damn! Nice work, guys!! Anyone know anything beyond that?

yeah its terrible, basically for putting the little ribbon next to the listing. you're better off just putting in the listing that its for charity and donating the $$ yourself. I felt this helped legitimize the auction and ensure transparency. Though its interesting that Music Saves Lives used Mission Fish for an auction they did themselves.

I didn't spend money making these (Thanks Patrick) and don't see the validity in making money off them. Trying to get this "label" off to an honest start.

HHV.de is what I would recommend. The pricing for imports pressed in the US will likely be high regardless though. If it turns out a US based shop with international shipping is less expensive I'd suggest fatbeats.com or ughh.com

They were supposed to have arrived but Rainbo emailed me saying this: "could you please resend me the shipping instructions for this two orders, since we have been having email problems I lost all my emails and I think the email dint print as I can find it." So...that's why they didn't show up. I am going to get em here by Saturday and attack them over the weekend. The other order that's finished is Fireworks - Bonfires repress if anyone cares, that'll be up soon. For what it's worth, I can confirm that is true and Rainbo isn't BSing. They lost all emails prior to 11/8.

Clean the record. That's all you have to do. My blue copy skipped 5-6 times during holy fuck, spent 20 seconds cleaning it with water, nothing more, and it plays fine now.

Ah man that's great! I was halfway serious while assuming it was a longshot since MS is still going while Doom hasn't done a SH in a long while it seems. Is there an estimated release date or timeline nailed down yet? Not yet. We aren't sure how to make it work considering people who bought each individually don't want to buy the whole thing again in a box set, and we aren't sure about selling the boxes alone since some of the volumes are out of print. Plus the whole issue with the 3LPs versus 2LPs... I think something will happen in 2012 for sure though.

ditto. Definitely an awesome Box Set, considering how much the other Special Herbs were going for. Musically, its such a damn essential on vinyl. I was trying to go for the whole "metal fingers" vibe by having 5 metallic jackets. Wanted the box to be a bit sturdier though. But I think with 10 Records, a 45, a poster, and the whole thing on the DL card its a decent bang for your buck for an indie label release.
