Yea.. It's like they just went nuts with the gain knobs on the board. Distortion abounds.

I hate eBay so much but the best way to determine what ppl will pay for something is to throw it on there and publicize it on all the boards.. If there are only 10 of them chances are the other 9 ppl who own one haven't tried to make money off of it yet.

Used to be an awesome little shop in Athens where the dude would sell me mailers for $0.60 if I needed them. I'd usually buy a used lp and he'd tack the mailer on. That was before the Internet took over my life and my wallet and I developed a closet full of used mailers. Always felt like it was a little bit my fault the place shut down. I rarely sell anything but when I do I mail used. Just saying there are cheap options out there if you find a store that will swing something like that.

Got the litho with the lp today. Looks fucking sweet. I love the trend in free shit lately. Avetts 7" last week, sweet mumfords poster this week. It's like a little bonus for supporting brick and mortar. Also, this album wins the month of September.

this is a fucking joke. just listened for the first time. how could they sell something like that. I mean test pressings? Popping one of them on the old TT before shipping them? anything. I get the stripped down packaging and lack of center label, fits the stripped down arrangement. but shitty lightweight vinyl with sound that feels like it was mixed by a three year old? i mean it's not just a bad mix, shit distorts! there's maybe three instruments, how do you fuck things up that badly? has anyone ever dealt with merchnow/evr returns? is it worth it?

definitely not an audiophile pressing by any means and the top left corner of mine was bent, but I'm just happy to have the album. Sounds like a CD rip. I'm not getting the surface noise that other people are though which is good.
