If you don't want new members joining -- request to make the board private or by invite only for the regular members. To give a person, a new collector, seeking information this much shit over a simple question is ridiculous. The fact that it carries on for over a page is unnecessary with the "is she a troll or isn't she a troll" nonsense. If it was a common question that gets asked a lot, well excuse me for that, could've been directed to the appropriate section instead of bombarded with rude posts and responses for no reason. FYI -- I did read T.H.C. thread and seen that record but it doesn't look in the shape that mine is in, that's why I asked. Maybe instead of insulting someone about use of the internet, you would've drawn the more likely conclusion that I never owned any color vinyl. : Not every new person that signs up here is a troll, ironically the people with hundreds and thousands of posts are the ones coming across as the trolls. I was hoping to start collecting, gain some info on how to do that as well as buy a few vinyl but that won't be happening. Kings Of Leon have always been signed to a major label, RCA Records, ever since their first EP. well my whole point was they weren't very popular, only in small towns down south and then in some parts of England, after they got fairly popular across the U.S. (only by the night) and more attention from their label a lot of longtime fans seemed not to like them anymore b/c they say their sound have changed drastically since they 'blew up.' I still like them, just saying.

I'm a Penn State fan (it's not my alma mater, though). I didn't get to watch their season opener like I do every year b/c of trouble with my cable though. bummer. I love college football; a lot of people I guess have issues with their bowl selection system. I watch a lot of different teams, like LSU, it's just entertaining all around.

you wonder what's going to change if anything. don't think they would've signed if it was going to result in major changes they weren't comfortable with. KOL was a small band that got big and signed to a major label and most of their fans didn't like the transition musically or otherwise. Don't see TGA going that route at all though, LOL. I think they will be just fine

Hi, I received my first vinyl in the mail via silverplatters in Seattle, WA. I took it out (Elsie/Horrible Crowes/blood red) and it's got black splotches all over it ??? Now I don't have a player at the moment to 'test' out the sound -- but is it "supposed" to look like that or is mine f*cked up and I should send it back? thanks.

I have ordered my first vinyl (as an adult anyways) Elsie/Horrible Crowes (Blood red) Still to come: Neighborhoods/Blink 182 (waiting for the H.T. b&w swirl variant) Elsie/Horrible Crowes (Red wax Euro pressing) 59 Sound/TGA (not sure yet which one I will get)

Hi. I have read through most of this thread, whew! Would anyone recommend the Project Debut III in red, for a "beginner user?" Dumb question: but I saw on amazon some have lids and others didn't that is removable or an option? B/C I want one with a lid! I haven't played a vinyl since I was a kid.
