Maybe you did or didn't do shady shit, let's keep it on topic please and thank you.
Let's be clear here, regardless of the words I have said on this thread or anywhere else on this board, I've never once been accused of doing anything shady anywhere on the Internet, let alone around here. I'm as solid and trustworthy as it gets when it comes to networking with others on records, posters, collectibles, etc...
-
If you asshats lock this shit up with this high-school-drama-i-love-Justin-Bieber-more-tiny-dick-contest, I'ma be pissed. Keep it on topic.
Peeps just feel the urge to air out my dirty laundry for me I guess?

I called you out for flipping a bunch of Pink Drive OSTs and you're still butthurt about it. You had an opportunity to do something good for this community and you chose to do good for yourself instead. You're not my kind of people so I really don't care what you think of me anyways. I'd never ever consider taking your help so what do you care? You are seriously delusional dude. Just because you've helped some people out on the Internet doesn't give you a right to be a complete ass hat to everybody else. You may have helped some folks but you sure haven't been very kind around here.
Plus Mr. Cole, I thought we had a previous arrangement with this board's moderators that we are not supposed to be trash talking about each other? I have held up my end, would you like me to contact them again to revisit our arrangement? Please do us both a favor and keep me on ignore.

With all that being said, I just ended up paying a flipper for the Horkey Fat Bird so my deal is off and I'll try and leave here again on a positive note. If there's anyone (who doesn't live near Austin) who would wanna purchase my Mondo Clayface and Man Bat 7"s at cost plus shipping, shoot me a PM.
-
Look at fucking Sherlock Holmes over here. Yeah if u wanna judge me on my Internet bullshit, that's fine, I don't need to prove who I am to an internet stranger. That said, the people who scratch my back get theirs scratched WAY MORE anyways. All I fucking do is help people out on the Internet, many many many more times than I ask for help myself. I'm sure there are a number of folks even on here that can vouch for my actions.Hey dude, I really don't care one way or the other, but do you think the reason nobody wants to help you has something to do with this?
Also when you left this board and while you were posting here weren't you just talking a bunch of shit on this place over at EB? Just curious. EDIT: looks like you started a fight with a bunch of people in a phish thread over there and called everyone a retard and got banned? It would explain why you're back here, I suppose.
For the record (and I'm sure you won't believe me but it's true), I was offered to get my ban lifted over at EB but the reality is that place is just loaded with sleazebags and ripoff artists so I declined the invitation. Their moderators are absolutely terrible and don't know how to run a message board. Don't care to be a part of that online community ever again. Most people don't know this but the moderators over there have repeatedly considered shutting that message board down altogether and I can't really say I would blame them.
Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and mailing lists are the best to network yourself in this low brow art community anyways.
Problem is I've never really connected with anyone living down in Austin. Probably because they're tired of getting repeatedly hammered with PB requests on all this Mondo crap.
And yeah the reality is, once this MondoCon weekend is over, I'll probably leave this thread again because I'm just not into their vinyl offerings anymore. But that's also why I've made a REAL SOLID offer to anyone who was willing to help. Whomever would have taken that deal would have come out way more on top than I did...

If someone at MondoCon can grab me a Horkey Fat Bird and a Ruas Machinehat, I'll offer up PB help on the Stout Goonies online drop (I know drop tricks) plus my Clayface and Mat Bat Mondo 7"s. Plus a mystery tube of a couple Mondo prints. Pm me if interested...
-
I actually got PMLevine a test press which is numbered 060. It is one of the BTTF TPs, but I don't know which one. And yes, they were $100.
I was gonna say, if they're selling test pressings, they surely ran off as many as they could.
-
A fellow VC'er got the BTTF test press. *applauds*
Keep your eye on eBay for it...

It appears nobody here can help any of us. Kinda blows.
Yeah, I've got hundreds of dollars worth of free shit to give someone for their help and so far its been :crickets:
-
Ive got a couple random Mondo Batman TAS 7"s (Clayface and Mat Bat) that I'll give to anyone at MondoCon who feels like stopping over at the Vacvvm booth at some point and picking me up a couple things. PM me if interested.
I'll even ship you a poster tube (with some random Mondo prints from years past for your troubles, Taylor, Stout, Jock, etc...) to use to ship back to me!
Trust me, I take care of my PBs...

would have grabbed that traveller print by Esao, glad and upset it sold out. It's a good thing that whole set with esao is $300. Now I have no rational way of convincing myself I need them.
Loved the prints from that show. Kinda surprised all (except for World Traveler) are still available. I ended up getting everything but the Horkey show print. Love the lettering but have no interest in owning a print commemorating an art show.
-
Also a couple individual screen prints (Horkey and Ruas) leftover onsale here:

Killer folio from the Gilded Age show (Horkey, Esao and Ruas) still available for purchase here:

I doubt anyone is going to camp out to get the Horky Jurassic Park print for you....
Knowing me that's a quality assumption but I really dont want any dinosaurs hanging on my wall from any artist TBH. Knowing you, I'm sure you'll be camped out waiting to buy one to try and flip. I'm actually hoping for Ruas' Machinehat print instead. I'm sure there will be no camping required.

The event character of RSD is still pretty awesome. It's the records-side of it that sucks ass.
Meh, I can always find at least a couple worthy purchases off any RSD list.
-
I'm going to be at mondocon so if you have something you want from there, send me a PM and i'll try to help y'all out!
PM'd

Still looking for some help with a print from the Vacvvm booth at MondoCon. Hit me up if u can help. Can return the favor on something in the future.
-
Don't worry, I'm not really "back", haha. Haven't bought a single thing Mondo in about a year and don't really follow what they're doing anymore. However, I am really good at hitting on Mondo online drops (I know a few Shopify "tricks", not gonna give out my secrets so don't bother asking) so I figured I'd offer up my services to someone in the future if they were able to help me out.he's a good dude, no need to start unnecessary drama
Print is called Machinehat. Not typically something the Mondos are gonna fall all over themselves looking to snatch it up so I'll probably hit on the online release but figure I'd try my luck here first before resorting to that route.

Hey if anyone is headed to MondoCon and would consider picking up the Joao Ruas print for me from the Vacvvm booth, shoot me a PM. Can return the favor for something at a later time if needed.

USPS just delivered my screen printed poster... it's black w/ silver ink.
Yep got mine too today. Not bad for free...
-
Mine came in on Tuesday... The A/B disk is completely flat, but the C/D and E/F disks are moderately warped... it doesn't seem to effect playback, so whatevs... just annoying. Anyone receive the screen printed poster yet?
Got my vinyl sometime over Labor Day weekend. Still on the lookout for the screen print though.
-
Just to be clear, you thought that was a reasonable approach to dealing with the situation (taking it offline from online)?
I think we were both just clownin around. It's all good.

Real men keep their pms to themselves.
As a man, I don't need anyone tellin me it's "that time of the month"...
The Mondo Records Thread - You think limited? Will sell fast?

Found a friend of a friend able to help me out at MondoCon with that Ruas Machinehat print at cost. Wouldn't even accept my offer of a free Mondo mystery tube, what a guy!
