I would possibly be interested in Clayface, what was cost on these?
According to the EB charts, both were $15 a piece. They're both still sealed. Much cheaper than you can get on eBay, lemme know. Honestly don't even remember how these came into my collection, haha. I think I bought em for someone and they were also able to score too so I just kept em and forgot about em. Stumbled onto em the other day, figure I'd unload em while I'm still around.

I might be interested. They had some Man-Bats for like $14 at the Mondo booth this weekend.
Sounds good, lemme know.

I've still got a copy of Clayface and Mat Bat from Mondo's Batman TAS 7" series available for cost (whatever that was back in the day, haha) if someone is interested? Shoot me a PM.

Stoutz 4 Everyone!Read somewhere the Stout Goonies was going to be an open edition.
I'll believe it when I see it.

If anyone who wasn't at MondoCon needs some help with that Halloween reg drop, shoot me a PM. I can help as long as it isn't dropping at the same time as the Stout Goonies reg.

quick scan of ebay, $175 was the cheapest buy it now I saw
It was a part of a screening at MondoCon, not sure of the cost of the ticket but those listed on eBay are obviously aftermarket flipper prices.

Had a buddy snag this for me at MondoCon Joao Ruas - Machinehat

anyone know if the Pulp Fiction print sold out?
Almost immediately

I'm sure he made a killing at MondoCon this year. Unfortunately for him, he's sorely overestimating Edmiston's market. Just wait it out, these things will be much cheaper down the road. Mondo has a gazillion Halloween prints and none of em (other than the Taylor) fetch decent money. They are labeled A-D, so you're right...they should be individual releases.
Also, I went to MondoCon to pick up stuff for a lot of people (20 rekkids for youse bastards). I really hope fortune shines on me and that some kind person out there sells me that Edmiston Halloween print at a fair price because I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!!!
And seeing people like Ben flipping that beauty of a print when someone like me would love to hang it in my room ticks me off.

were the test 2xlp? hoping they release as one set though. hmm.
It would make for a nice box set package. Im guessing they would use Durieux's art work for it but who knows.

Sound quality is always crap with this label.
-
Not sure. Love love love the movie but G1988 saturated the living fuck out of that print market last year, haha. Lora Zombie's Slimer print was probably my favorite of the bunch.Hmm...what would you all like to see?
-
To get this back on track and the bullshit cleared up, to piggyback on homies question, what else could they release? Specifically next year at Mondocon? There are still some big cult movies out there. I'd like to see a proper Ghostbusters release...but not for the new bullshit coming out.
Gallery 1988 got the Ghostbusters license from the anniversary last year. Not sure the details on how long that lasts and how exclusive that license is though.

I haven't heard much about the Mondo panel today but I do know they debuted the colors for the reg Goonies edition that I'm guessing will be dropping online shortly. Haven't read anything of them announcing it as an OST though, kinda figured if it were in the plans, they would have used the panel to announce it today. Just my 2 cents though.Yea, I get that and I was just thinking curiously out loud. Could be a cool release IMO. I'm not saying it's going to happen.
That said, we all know Mondo. If it's possible and they can make money off of it, it's definitely never gonna be off the table. Stout and Goonies are 2 pretty popular commodities.
-
They don't release all of their movie prints as soundtracks. In fact, the vast minority of their movie prints become album art for their records. Mondo has had a poster license for Goonies for quite awhile now so a new Mondo Goonies print isn't something that has come completely out of left field. So my view of them most likely working on a poster and vinyl at the same time makes no sense to his response of saying otherwise...Um ok.
Right...so why wouldn't they have been working all this time on the licenses for that reason IF the do plan on a doing a vinyl release...
It might happen, I just wouldn't expect that it is going to happen.

I feel like I've had a pretty decent attitude on this thread since I came back over the past few days but it looks like the sharks are still swarming in these here Mondo waters.

I sleep well at night knowing I don't associate with scum like you.
Sweet. Might as well put me on ignore then I guess.
-
It does seem like every Mondo Stout print gets its own soundtrack these days though doesn't it? Haha.
-
Exactly, rumored for years, and now we have seen it. So if they were working on a poster and probably have the idea of a vinyl, why wouldn't they have been working on that too? But that's just my point of view. Not need for a debate
It is possible. Just trying to point out that the licenses for the artwork and the licenses for the soundtrack can be 2 very different things. I haven't seen Goonies in decades, is the soundtrack all Orchestra music or is it filled with 80s pop music? If there's a bunch of different artists involved in the soundtrack, it could get tricky.
-
They released a goonies poster so probably a vinyl will follow?
Not necessarily. Took em forever to get all the likeness rights just so they could get a Stout put together. That Stout print has been rumored for YEARS.

I want to know what was announced at the panel. Anyone?
Which one? I know at the Vacvvm panel it was announced that Randy Ortiz will be joining their crew and had an introduction print available at the Vacvvm booth today.

Unfortunately I went high ($100 over original cost, shipped)... Oh well, right around where the first couple have sold. Just been seeing a lot of people ISO these so I didn't wanna take a gamble that these would drop on the aftermarket. My first fat bird but I know people are typically pretty rabid for these things and I'm rabid for birds with helmetsHey timbr, if you want to help out, hook a brother up with those drop tips.
I hope you didn't have to go to high on that Horkey bird. I'm not a fat bird fan but that thing was awesome.

For the record timbr, I have no beef with you at all personally, everything that I've seen happen in this thread and over at EB I've found entertaining at the very least.. I know you have (or had) a good rep over there and with some users on here.. In your defense as well two of the people you were arguing with back then were (and still are) pretty much widely disliked on this forum to this day. I just think you have some keyboard warrior tendencies that need to get put in check from time to time. Glad to hear you got the print you were looking for anyway.
Anyway.... Hope everyone is having fun at the con, now dear god can Black Swan go online this week? Lord baby Jesus I hope so. the DW version of the Beyond would be awesome to go up as well.
Thanks man.

Got it so regardless of the bile you spewed, you are truly a good person at heart. Fuck out of here.
Not sure why you would wanna waste your time burning any bridges with me since I've never once said anything negative to you but I guess whatever makes you sleep better at night? Carry on...
