Agreed, used to be part of my boxing day routine, ossington station > HaM> bathurst > sonic boom > street car > queen west. And I would some how convince myself that I might as well buy something at sonic boom since I was there. Also, why is Criminal records all crossed out? Did it close? HaM is the only record store I can think of in Toronto that isn't run by an old dude or staffed by total hipsters. Also, Theres Play da Record on young street if you are into that sort of music. And Sunrise Records has a used section that you can occasionally find cool stuff in, I was there thursday and I saw a copy of the first 20/20 album if anyone is into power pop.

Why not press it yourself? If you think it could sell you could make a few bucks and get yourself some faggy test presses or whatever you kids shit cum over. If not, don't bother. Its not like having any random album on vinyl makes it special. What makes a record that was pressed in 2012, by a band that sucked in 2003 more special than a cd that you probably bought when you were 15 years old?

Not gunna read the thread so sorry if it has already been said, but why not just go to record stores any other day of the year. I just had a monster score on a bunch of new arrivals in the used section of a record store that participates in RSD. If there wasn't record store day it might not be profitable enough to remain open. I do, but I never pass up on a chance to rip on some of the knobs that frequent these forums.
