  1. No offense taken! Jay Z wasn't really the point, rather how that shit is mass-manufactured. Take a tour of URP in Nashville if you ever wanna a see a plant that just pumps shit out relatively blindly.
  2. Olivia had to abruptly leave for a funeral on Friday. I can check with her Monday to make sure yours went out. Hit us up: [email protected] and [email protected].
  3. Not sure anyone is claiming originality here, just something exclusive to the record club that sets it apart from the retail version. Plus I'm friends with the fella that's actually 'hand-making' them meaning it's in the family which is always nice. It's not being blindly pressed next to 10,000 copies of a Jay Z record in a massive pressing plant.
  4. Yeah, they're kind of all over the place within that range. I figure if that's the biggest of my issues with this pressing, it's ok. It's incredibly rare that we receive vinyl early these days so I'm pretty excited about it.
  5. It's not like that. They were all pressed under the guise that they were the same color. I have a hunch the manufacturer ran out of white (which would've been used in conjunction with the yellow to make it our chosen color) at some point and just kept on rolling with them. The retail pressing is 2700 copies so it could be any amount really as we paid to receive 2700 cream colored copies and they gave us that range of colors. I wasn't about to count how many were not ideal.
  6. It'll be up in a few weeks. You can join the mailing list to find out when it goes up so you don't have to remember. Cheers.
  7. I can...and did. I view this label more as a mom and pop operation than your typical label. It's just me. And then I have Olivia to mail shit out. Do people steal from your locally owned health food store where you've come to know and appreciate the owners and/or employees? I'm sure they do, but it's far less than at a Walmart for example. Why is that? Respect. People tend to respect smaller operations that they're ultimately supporting. But you can scrap my above rant and simply say that at 33 years old I'm still naive. Moot point. The record is out there now so I might as well send everyone that pre-ordered it download links rather than risking folks getting a virus from a bad link. Expect that soon y'all. Nighty Night.
  8. They definitely go to your junk or spam then. I'll resend right this second if you hit me with your email address.
  9. It was full in the old days when it was 100 people. But then I expanded to 150 and then 200 etc. I was super-excited to finally hit a full 300 a few days ago but then we sent out renewal emails and had 12 people drop out. So we still have a few spaces left. Honestly, if the label could be built up enough (LONG SHOT) to have 500 RC members, my focus would be able to shift greatly and we'd get into some things I've been saving for such growth. But I release too varied of musics to ever hit that number.
  10. I would hardly call Daniel trendy. Graveface, Tobacco and the Lips are pretty much the only people using him for these things currently. The process is not very random either. We have meetings about these things and he does a series of test runs to make sure they turn out according to our plan. I do agree on the lighter colors for this pour. They look great.
  11. We're sending pre-orders out starting Tuesday morning so you'll have the full album well before the release date as well. It's just a nice thing to reward those that trust my musical taste enough to throw $150 up front my way. Your support is very much so appreciated though and I hope you enjoy the album when it hits you next week.
  12. What email would you like RC emails to go to? Check your spam/junk as well.
  13. There is no rush. This is simply a way for me to combine everything I'm working on. Most are runs of 1000, a few 500 and some 2000.
  14. Hand pours are only for the Record Club.
  15. Yes! I've noticed our emails going to spam lately. Not sure what's up with that. It'll be coming from [email protected]
  16. I will never license from Deep Elm again. But I'm sure someone else will at some point.
  17. I would say the Kickstarter is not really meant for Record Clubbers. RC'ers are taken care of (those that are paid up). So you never have to worry about missing anything etc. We have a list price in stores of $15.98 as of 30 days ago but it's obviously up to the stores how much they charge. We charge $15 plus shipping for our releases on our site ($19). This Kickstarter isn't even about $$ up front for Graveface. Rather it's just a way to put everything I've been working on into one place. You dig? Knucklebump back!!
  18. Hey now! I'm technically fine with people getting whatever, it just got totally bonkers last year for some reason. If I didn't have Olivia to keep track of it all at this point I'd be VERY against it.
  19. The Archival stuff will be up on August 1st and there's plenty of copies to go around. Is anyone coming to the Casket Girls/Dreamend tour starting next week? If so, wanna chat at length about various cocktail bitters? http://www.graveface.com/graveface-tours.html
  20. Peregrine is remastered specifically for vinyl finally. Maria, who did the art for Casket Girls and Marshmallow Ghosts, did embroidery based on the original art. It looks really fucking pretty.
