That's how the planchette works. The letters that appear in the center are the letters to pay attention to. In commercially made talking boards, they use a thin plexi for that part. I've always hated that and pop them out as I'd prefer it to be blank, hence mine being blank. So yours is good! (meaning how I meant it to be) The planchette was smoothed by my hands so it definitely won't fuck up your board. Should flow around the board pretty easily.

Glad to see some stuff is trickling in. I'm nervous about some of the tracking myself. But these packages were packed with the knowledge that some USPS employees don't care about mail so we should be good. In regards to the extra Marshmallow Ghosts 10"s, there are about 40 or so extras as of now. I'm not gonna put them up for sale until everyone receives their fundraiser stuff and I know how many I need to replace. There's always issues so I like to plan for them. Holy crap! Didn't mean to cause any sort of mild controversy on here. I just know if someone is willing to shell out $100+ on the Record Club and trust that I won't release 10 shitty albums in row, those are the people I'd like to 'support' first and foremost. Most of whom are the only reason I still exist. I started the RC as a reaction to the evil distro/flood and 120 people joined immediately. I had planned for 50 on the high side. That allowed me to exist without the need for a distributor for a while whilst I figured things out. Anyways. That's the not-so-interesting history but just know, regardless of whether you're in the RC or not, I really appreciate the support and I'm totally stoked any of you want(ed) to buy anything. I'm still digging through things so if there's something you really can't live without, send me an email [mailatgravefacedotcom] and if I come across it, I'll hit you up, RC or not. Gonna try to post a Soundcloud sampler link of the new Marshmallow Ghosts sometime tomorrow. Since that's the only new musical aspect being funded by this it makes sense. That's all I've got for now. Hi folks! Shit! I had no idea this many people on here gave a hoot about this old stuff. Totally radical. Prices will be slightly below what each title is worth to me, so probably overpriced to most casual fans. Getting back 7 copies of the first ever GF vinyl (GRAVE018) is a great example. To me each copy is worth $100+. Will I price it as such? No. But not too terribly far off. Shipping AND insurance are included with the prices as well as the new Marshmallow Ghosts 7" for 2013. All will be explained tomorrow, fingers crossed. It's been an exhausting process going through every single copy to make sure each copy is mint. More soon. Thanks for your continued support!

Yeah, that's why I've deleted the ability for the RC to skip releases. It makes it take super long to get everything out when you have to go through one by one. That being said, I believe everyone that's caught up $$-wise with the RC has been mailed to as well, so you're not far behind.

Downloads will be mailed out on or right before the release date. I just wanted people to have the physical copies early.

Just wanted to thank everyone that's donated their hard-earned loot or has purchased this new album. Also, all Record Clubbers have been 'serviced' except for the folks that bought the ASC test pressing. They were a bit too warped for my taste so I had them remade. Those along with the second retail pressing will be at our warehouse this Tuesday and of course we'll get them shipped out immediately. I appreciate your patience. What up yinz? I have nuttin' to do with the TeePee pressings obviously. I did just try to buy the rights from them for the record however but it ain't happening any time soon. In regards to Distressor, I've pressed 4 different color schemes which are mentioned above. Then there's the original black version from that other label. I consider that a different record though because we remastered (read: mastered properly) before pressing our version. I have two new Whirr LPs coming out this year. The first is in May and is called 'Around'. It's 4 absolutely gorgeous and heartbreaking tracks. Working on a die cut right now actually. The second will be out towards the end of the year. Something they are currently writing I believe. I can't wait to finally see these guys and gal live at the Graveface SXSW show. Long time coming. Very excited. XO, RG

I think, if the Xiu Xiu hadn't been released during Autumn, I would've agreed with you. But to my horror and noise loving ears it made a little too much sense in late Sept. Oh Deep Elm! I rejected doing the gold edition because technically there are still 150+ silver editions left. Granted they are trapped in the basement of my old distributor, but I will get them back sooner than later methinks. Come to think of it, I think that conversation may have only existed in my head as the thought of replying to D.E. made me want to yak. Thanks mameeshkamowskwoz for bringing this back up. I haven't gotten much feedback on the series as a whole from the folks that have been so kind to buy in. Is anyone even digging the tunes? Personal favs are the Mount Eerie, Serengeti w/ Tobacco, Whirr, Bonar & Ian McCutcheon tunes. Also, I think the new Appleseed stuff is leagues above and beyond their last few records. So from a fan perspective, it's been an honor to put this stuff out. From a business perspective, it seems like it would have been wiser to simply do a Kickstarter. Regardless, I wouldn't say the Appleseed 7" is simply a single for the new record as our tracklisting hasn't been turned in yet. Aaaand, even if that track ends up on the full length, it'd be a different version as their final recording sessions happened after we made the 7". So let's not naysay just yet! Mastering happens next week. What I can say is that there are 5 tracks on the next Appleseed record that are, in my opinion, 5 of the best songs they've ever put out. Easily. And this is coming from a massive Appleseed Cast fan. So there's that. Back to the charity series. Thanks to those that have been a part of it.
