The Who + Solo LPs By no means even remotely near complete, but still fairly extensive and ever-growing!

This might be a long shot, but I am going to be traveling to Neuquén, Argentina in March to do some field work and will be spending a little time in Buenos Aires as well. I'm wondering if anybody has traveled there or lives there that could be so kind as to recommend any good record stores in that area (or in Neuquén). Thanks!

i just got my copy out. i haven't listened to it in years. is it normal for the lp to have side 1 and 4 and the second lp to have side 2 and 3? I tried to look it up and couldn't find anything. I bought it years ago when I was on a Who kick after a Pearl Jam kick. I have wondered the same myself, but I don't know for sure. It seems to me that records pressed like that are designed with record changers in mind. That way, you could stack the records and hear side 1 go right into side 2, then flip the stack and hear 3 and 4. I have no idea whether or not that is actually the reason, but it seems to make the most sense.

I probably listen to The Who's Quadrophenia and my Klark Kent 10" more than anything. I also love my Muppet Show LP.

It sounds like at least the stores on the west coast have them, and Travis said they would pop up further east within a few days. I'm all the way over in Maryland, so I'm hoping they'll start to hit the shelves along the east coast soon.

The price on this has dropped again, this time to $16.99. $10 shipping is robbery... I must have gotten free shipping Thanksgiving weekend or something, because I definitely didn't pay that.

Yeah, I saw that at FYE the other day too and thought it was pretty cool, so I went back and picked up a copy yesterday.

Yeah, the price is unreasonable, to say the least. Though, it seems like UO's vinyl typically goes on clearance within a couple of months after release (I picked up a copy of Van Halen's 1984 reissue there marked down from $24 to $10 and The Clash's London Calling marked down from $22 to $7), so I would imagine the price will drop after the holiday season to be more appropriate.
