your biggest issue should be making sure the files are high enough resolution to be blown up 2.5 times and not look like pixelized garbage. and after that you should get someone who has laid out an LP before to help or do it for you so you don't make a really expensive mistake.

No Idea presses at United but yet they suck? Grant - every single person you talk to is going to give you a different story on where to press stuff. It's like asking someone if they like Coke or Pepsi. Most big labels stick with one plant and build a relationship. A lot of little labels jump around a lot because of little mistakes that are easily fixed and half of the time their own fault. What record are you putting out?

the same company that owns Bart's also owns Vinyl Fever in Tallahassee and is closing that store as well. glad I got away from these folks a few years ago as I used to work for them too.

But if you live around Charlotte it means something because it helps bring bands to town that wouldn't normally otherwise play and enables me to get records that I otherwise wouldn't be able to stock either. I don't understand how they pay rent being that close to the water though. Gravity - which is run by a couple brothers who used to work for Manifest a long time ago. New selection is ok, mostly indie stuff and reissues, not a lot of punk stuff. I've picked up some OK used stuff there though.
