there was like 1, maybe 2, record booths in the whole market. very underwhelming. The rest of the market is still pretty cool to check out though, regardless

Last year Lolla had a tent where you could buy music from the bands playing. they had a good amount of vinyl. pretty sure it was air conditioned. you could also leave your purchases there and pick up at the end of the day, but i think you had to pick up before 10pm, which cut into the headliner sets

Got mine today. It's missing the last track "Wrong Thing, Right Then". At least on the back....will listen to see if it's there.
confirming this does not have "Wrong Thing". I've never heard the song, since it wasn't on the CD version either.

did you take a look or ask your question over at www.thebrpage.net ?

didn't mean to sound negative. it's an admirable feat. even if you only go a few days it does great things for you. just get over the 3-day hump and it's kind of smooth sailing from there. also make sure your juicer doesn't produce too much froth, and make sure you skim that shit off the top. there's nothing like a mouthful of veggie foam

tried this once. lasted 7 days. my wife lasted 10. it was not easy... good luck.

So I'm about to buy a new turntable, and just wanted some opinions...
If prices were pretty equal in-store and online, but your store didn't have the first choice color you wanted, would you still opt for the store since it's local and you could get it immediately, or would you buy online to get
your first choice color and pay for shipping and wait for delivery?
what are the other pros and cons of buying in-store vs. online? warranties, service, shipping damages, anything like that?
any advice would be helpful...

I'm going to attempt to sell all of my CD's to a local shop today. They're in good condition... mostly rock, punk, pop, ska, reggae, etc from the 90's to recent. Pretty common stuff, nothing too obscure or rare.
What should I reasonably expect to get for them without feeling ripped off? Just looking for a ballpark number from people who might have done this before...
-
yeah, the amount of food they had was pretty impressive, and pretty reasonable. You also want to be aware that the surrounding area isn't the absolute greatest (fine during the day, a little sketchy at night, but fine if you're in a group), and options nearby are kind of scarce.

Third Man Records has a mini shop inside the LollaShop at 332 S. Michigan all week leading up to Lolla. I'll probably check it out one day after work.
