Does anyone know if the red variant is 4AD exclusive? I'd like to buy it from my local store but I'm a sucker for red vinyl.

I bought mine at Reckless in Chicago and it's on red. There's a sticker on there that says "Limited Edition Red Vinyl" so you can tell without opening.

I was able to grab GA PIT for both Chicago shows somehow. That made my morning.

I'd love the Deer Tick 7", but I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to make it out this year.

since its consistent throughout all 4 sides it makes me think it was the pressing itself as opposed to a dud or getting scratched up...

 

can anyone confirm if their copy has no surface noise? as stated before, the audio itself is the best sounding hold steady album  so its a real bummer if they all have this

I got the gold as well, and there's a ton of surface noise. I was playing it loud enough to not really notice it during the rocking songs, but during the ballads it was noticeable.

Ordered the deluxe the day the preorder went up but still haven't gotten a shipping notice?

I've preordered 5 albums from Sacred Bones in the last 2 years, and I always receive them 1-2 weeks after the release date. I have a friend who lives less than a mile from me who gets them early. Maybe they do it alphabetically?

I also ordered the day they went up.

For some reason, every release I preorder from Sacred Bones I don't get until a week after the release date. Maybe they hate me for spending so much money.

The Hideout is such a great venue.

It's jarring for someone to have a first post like this, but honestly it's not offensive. I'm not a juggalo by any means but I've heard enough to know that ICP are scapegoats. Not great, but no worse.

You can't badmouth the lyrics of ICP and still praise the lyrics on Yeezus.

Hmmm, I wonder how many additional red copies are available outside the big $30 limited bundle of 350.  I would like to snag a red copy but I wanted to hold off for a little while.  They may dissapear soon if they only pressed like 500 on red.

It looks like the standard is actually on black, with a limited run on red and then the wax-sealed edition of 350, also on red.

Yeah, I held out buying this album because of this thread but couldn't resist when SC was having their sale. Just got it and listened, and mine is perfect. Great album.

I think the cover and insert are right (at least on the black version) cause Do The Stooge is definitely the first track on the second side.

One of my favorite bands ever.  I saw Brian's last show last Friday and I don't think any drummer is going to be able to take his place.

How did you guys get the email in the first place?  I order from Goner all the time, and have ordered Nobunny releases from them in the past.  And I didn't get the email...

After that last show, I am going on a Nobunny live hiatus. I had to drag my ass out on a weeknight and was just generally pissed that he really didn't give a crap about the show. He barely even sang the lyrics to even one song. It was really bad and almost made me say FU to him altogether, but I have been to amazingly fun shows by him as well, so I am still onboard. Hopefully the SF show will be back to form.
