Today is the release date! Anybody get any news regarding if these are still on schedule?
I preordered mine from Saddle Creek and it's currently in the mail, most likely to be delivered next Tuesday.
-
I had this preordered through Amazon, and I got a notification today stating they wouldn't be able to send it out until the end of August.
-
Did anybody else do the (very) early preorder from the band's website? I opted for the Super VIP since they are one of my favorite bands, but I haven't heard anything about my order in a long time.
-
I still have no movement on mine despite emailing KRM 2 or 3 times over the course of the preorder.
Oh well.
On the upside, I am going to see the Webster Hall show in a month. So that will be fun and less cold than the last time I saw them there.
Same here, and I called the customer service number in the original order email, and the guy hung up on me.

Finally got this thing in
(red)
It sounds fine, I don't know
I should have just waited and grabbed a copy via Amazon
It's pretty though
Still not shipped. I wish I could listen to this right now...
-
I've sent 2 emails in the last 2 weeks and they haven't replied to either. I also order the new Refused album from them that stated it would ship on 6/30 and there's still no movement on that.
At this point, I'll just keep listening to the MP3s and never preorder a release from Epitaph/Kings Road again.
-
I only need two of these. I guess I could always buy a box and then sell the Let It Be and Hootenanny from the box?
I'd take Let It Be off your hands
-
I don't think this is nearly as bad as people are making it out to be.
-
I got mine yesterday and it's so warped the needle won't stay on. I sent them an email but haven't heard back.

This album is fantastic.
-
$10.80 shipping the cheapest option?
-
Did anyone's download card include the bonus tracks? I ordered mine from Amazon and I just got the 10 album tracks. Maybe the ones that shipped from their official site had a different download card that had the bonus ones?
I ordered from Amazon, and my download card is just the 10 songs, but the AutoRip is the bonus edition.

How many of the 7" have you received? I think I've only got like 2 or 3, but I haven't got one in a LONG time...
I received the 7 year anniversary 7"s (which counts as 2) and then Stranded and Fatal Flaw. So I believe they still owe us 3 7"s

Has anyone heard anything regarding their gotocdworld order yet? I'm assuming it's going to be awhile if it's just one guy processing all of the orders. Trying to figure out if I want any of these releases enough to risk ending up with two copies, because I can find the majority of it elsewhere now.
I had sent an email saying if the Father John Misty 7" wasn't able to be fulfilled to please cancel my whole order, and about 20 minutes ago I got an email that simply said "Cancelled"
-
I'd love a copy of John Prine 78 if somebody comes across it
-
Has anybody seen the John Prine live album anywhere online?
Also my Vintage Vinyl order now says "processing" so that seems promising.
-
It's $15 from the band (not sure about shipping):

Another great album. Has a Here Comes The Zoo/As Good As Dead vibe.

Surprise album releases are doing for music criticism what 24 hour news networks did for news journalism. These critics are listening to an album once and claiming it's a masterpiece because they're being pressured for a review. They have preconceived opinions going into the listen, and don't really have time to digest the music and let it settle. The reviews are less and less about the music itself and more and more about getting content onto a website before people move onto the next big thing.

Are all of these issues with the deluxe version only or the standard version as well?
-
Were you there? If so, we were at the same show
I was not, just found the setlist online. I might see him in Chicago though. What did you think of the show?
-
Anybody seeing him this tour? I've got tickets for Pitt next Friday. Hoping he plays several off the new one but the way his set lists go I'm not holding my breath.
Here's the setlist from last night. Looks like you got your wish. I'm really considering checking him out in Chicago...

- "Disposable Teens"
- "Slave Only Dreams to Be King"
- "Great Big White World"
- "Third Day of a Seven Day Binge"
- "mOBSCENE"

I went for the deluxe. Love the Mountain Goats, love Merge Records and love pro wrestling. I realize this will probably be available for cheaper down the road, but with free shipping and no tax I'd rather support the label.
-
Thanks how is shipping. I haven't ordered from them before. Just debating if I want to wait for them to come back up or just buy the standard release from Amazon.
If I remember correctly, they offer free shipping, and I usually receive pre-orders from them the week before the release date.

I ordered from Amoeba and got the slipmat, and my record is black.
