so you're saying that if the shareholders do release a record from a talented band you wouldn't buy it because we are "idiots"? have you read that forum for them lately? just bickering at each other already and they haven't even pressed or picked their first album yet for that matter. like a bunch of little kids in a sandbox fighting over toys. I wouldn't want a good band holding a quality release in the balance of their hands at this point. Hopefully they prove me wrong... I also am going to go out on a limb and say I don't have to worry about bands I consider talented to be released by the shareholders, chances are it won't happen. Not saying my taste or high and mighty, but most of the stuff I like is either already pressed or being pressed, or if it isn't the label has the rights to. Which I can't see them giving it away that easy. Only time will tell what bands get thrown into the mix though, It'd be a shot in my foot if they got a band I did like, but I doubt it.

I think the real reason is the poor album sales. Terrible push by their record label Triple Crown, this is what the 2nd or 3rd Triple Crown band to break up this year. I know Folly was one, that label might have 1 or 2 active bands left, and they still try to ride the Brand New fame. It only makes sense because they are exploring options to join other bands, more popular ones to make themselves some money.

I can't see how you just can't man up, file the claim, get your money back and move on and look for the records elsewhere. if you fucking idiots didn't listen to shitty music and than bitch and moan after a week of making a trade you wouldn't have this problem. i have never seen more complainers and fucking babies than lurking this place. so many people cry if they are not catered and have their hand held when being traded with. i can tell the kids that post here are the ones that dont actually support bands they just buy vinyl to flip or for cool colors. great inflation fraggles.
