I have the MOV reissue, sounds great and I'm happy to have it, but the downloading sure doesn't work! I've mailed the MyPlay customer service and it's been a week or so and it's still "in progress" (= probably never going to work).

 

I've had the same issues with Foo Fighters' Wasting Light and Sonic Highways, as well as with Decemberists' latest. Somehow they managed to work in the end, but this has been hopeless so far. MyPlay sucks.

 

I would like to know if the reissue of the S/T sounds any better to the original issue (which I have)? Any reason to buy it, except the downloadable bonus track? My vinyl purchases have also gotten way out of hand lately so probably gonna save this for later...

Very frustrating, but managed to get Lou Barlow & Busman's Holiday lathes. I won't be able to take part of this fun tomorrow, but I have high hopes for thursday...

Picked up the Seattle cover from my local record store – forgot that I preordered this from the UK store... and when I got home, there was the preorder with the flexi. Got the Nashville cover (you couldn't choose). So now I have a US pressing (preorder) and a Euro/UK pressing, though there's no difference, both pressed at Pallas, I assume.

Would buy but they don't sell this to Europe.

Seems to be sold out already. Damn.

Perhaps MOV reissue?

Ordered on Aug 15, but today received non-supply notification (and a refund) from Recordstore.co.uk after they "unfortunately receiving a smaller allocation than they hoped from their suppliers"...

 

Same here, bummer.

I took some photos to compare the US and EU editions. The jacket on the US one is very sturdy and the finish has the same 'soft touch' feel as Jack White's Lazaretto Ultra LP. The EU version is pretty standard card stock, with no varnish or finish on it. A bit of a disappointment, really. But the music is great!

FInally got this today. Should both of the LP's have the same inner sleeve? I have the sleeve for TMR-259 (the "audiophile version") in both. By that I mean that code is also in the "regular" version sleeve (TMR-261).

 

Of course, the information is the same for the both records. Perhaps just a typo?

Just order all three of them. Had to do it separately, because the shipping for all three together would have been over $130... Separately "only" $87 total. Damn expensive anyway, but love to have these.

For record stores; first go to a book store and get this: 

 

I had a picture of the cover (some other year's edition) on my phone, showed it to the staff at some book store and they got it for me since I couldn't find it myself.

 

In the book are listed record stores in different cities, with a maps and all. It's in japanese, but the locations and opening hours can be easily found. There's like over 100 pages only for Tokyo area.

Shit! Didn't know they have a EU store! I already ordered from the US store with huge shipping costs. I'll save 24 € ordering from the EU store.

 

Just emailed them asking to cancel my US order.

I got a note from the customs office today, my Cake box has arrived!

 

I ordered it immediately after the link was posted here, and my order was marked ready to ship right after the purchase. The status changed to 'shipped' on the 30th of April and now it's here in Finland. But I never received any emails for the status of my order or a tracking code for the shipment. I was about to email them today after reading some of the posts here!

 

It still takes few days for the the box to finally arrive to me, but I'm already happy! (here's hoping it was packed well and the Postal Gods treated it nicely on it's way)

 

Any other people from Europe got theirs yet?
