  2. "Dear Manic Street Preachers Fan,

This is important information regarding your recent order.

To improve and enhance audio quality, the song "4st 7lbs" has been moved to track 1 on side 2 of the LP.

It was a last minute decision so those lucky people receiving the first run of 'Holy Bible' box sets will be getting a rare collectors edition where the tracklisting shows "4st 7lbs" as the last track on side 1 (as per the original 1994 vinyl cut).

We hope you enjoy your purchased item.

Thanks again for ordering from us!

    Thank you,

    Your MyPlay Direct Team"

  3. I have the MOV reissue, sounds great and I'm happy to have it, but the downloading sure doesn't work! I've mailed the MyPlay customer service and it's been a week or so and it's still "in progress" (= probably never going to work).

I've had the same issues with Foo Fighters' Wasting Light and Sonic Highways, as well as with Decemberists' latest. Somehow they managed to work in the end, but this has been hopeless so far. MyPlay sucks.

I would like to know if the reissue of the S/T sounds any better to the original issue (which I have)? Any reason to buy it, except the downloadable bonus track? My vinyl purchases have also gotten way out of hand lately so probably gonna save this for later...

To my knowing there's no variants.

  4. Picked up the Seattle cover from my local record store – forgot that I preordered this from the UK store... and when I got home, there was the preorder with the flexi. Got the Nashville cover (you couldn't choose). So now I have a US pressing (preorder) and a Euro/UK pressing, though there's no difference, both pressed at Pallas, I assume.

  5. I'm stoked about the new album, good news! This guy is so productive, it's hard to keep up with all the stuff he puts out.

also since this is a vinyl board here's the impossible to find 2x10 inch and wooden box the UK version of the book came in..

Here's my copy (no. 196). It's actually not a wooden box, more like heavy cardboard or something.

  6. Odaiba in Tokyo is nice.

For record stores; first go to a book store and get this: IMG_1364_zps9d27a8c8.jpg

I had a picture of the cover (some other year's edition) on my phone, showed it to the staff at some book store and they got it for me since I couldn't find it myself.

In the book are listed record stores in different cities, with a maps and all. It's in japanese, but the locations and opening hours can be easily found. There's like over 100 pages only for Tokyo area.

  7. I got a note from the customs office today, my Cake box has arrived!

I ordered it immediately after the link was posted here, and my order was marked ready to ship right after the purchase. The status changed to 'shipped' on the 30th of April and now it's here in Finland. But I never received any emails for the status of my order or a tracking code for the shipment. I was about to email them today after reading some of the posts here!

It still takes few days for the the box to finally arrive to me, but I'm already happy! (here's hoping it was packed well and the Postal Gods treated it nicely on it's way)

Any other people from Europe got theirs yet?
