No Code has been in warehouse status since 9/2 status :Shipment information received.. then take into account their shipments to Texas seem to take even longer and I expect it in next maybe 3 weeks. fkn joke should have just held off ordering from them and just gone to a local store for these. Singles are also sitting at their warehouse still. Yield they shipped on 9/1 and I still don't have it.

I am relocating the door so once I finish the whole wall behind records will be covered with pallets. Once that is done some frame posters will go up.

Those look fantastic, and from what I can see in the bins, you have pretty good taste.

 

Out of curiosity, how do you like those gatefold sleeves?

would not recommend those sleeves. they are about a 1/4 inch too short for just about all records I used them on.

I bought some gatefold sleeves in Mexico city which were 3mil and perfect size. They were not sold for that purpose and I threw away the damn label with info on them. So I settled for these .

finally got around to building two of these. one is from the audio karma specs other I just went with longer boards to get 3 spaces out of it. Had a local carpenter build drawers and paint. All cost less then around 200 bucks for everything from material to carpenter fee.

they also have moby's innocents (with lanegan) mislabeled as vinyl at the cd price. i'm 0 for 2 trying to get them to honor their mistake, or refund the promo portion i used for payment. if they'd just say "promo credits are non refundable", which i know, but a weak customer service agent usually doesn't, i'd be fine with it. but explain to them "an $8 refund does not satisfy a $13 purchase" and it's like you're talking to a wall.

Hawk worked twice now but 3rd order is now in the getting ready to ship stage.  and I think they are on to me since now my bestbuy card is not going through for any new orders.

Good intentions, hell, and such.  Coming months can also mean a variety of things.  Will not hold my breath just yet.

local day care closed down and got 2 of these for 40 bucks.

Then a local carpenter opened shop. Took one and he added dividers ,painted  and reinforced to handle weight of vinyl for 50 bucks.

For two days in row now, I've had orders that were supposed to cancel (have received the "if we don't get more in stock by X date, we will have to cancel your order" emails) not cancel.  The day before yesterday, my order canceled late in the day instead of in the morning as they usually are.  Could just be BB's system is still undergoing changes, idk.  But interesting, nonetheless.  Anyone else have this happen yesterday/today?

Hard to say. The Cult singles was one of last 2 I had which was getting me codes and it shipped yesterday.

right now I have Venom -Welcome to Hell Limited. But it is set up to cancel in 2 weeks and that has not happened. The one I have on order should have canceled a week ago and it still comes up as order in process. I am thinking maybe it is set up 1-2 weeks but really is 3-4 weeks. I will find on Oct 22nd and let you know if it cancels or not.

Like everyone else all my go to ones are either no longer available to order or have shipped all of a sudden.

had 2 orders canceled yesterday and today got 2 $5.00 codes.  So in the end still got $10.00 bucks..jaja

FYI. The cult - pure cult singles compilation is a 1-2 week code I have now used twice.

How did it get you two codes this week?  Using different accounts or something?  I thought I remembered reading you could only have one of any given record on order at a time and still receive codes..?  Teach me your ways.

made orders a day or two apart. its only if you place different orders on same day , you either you get one code for the day regardles of how many orders or none at all. but as long as orders are placed on different day you get codes.

I see a lot of people ask about vintage tables. Why not have it all in one thread. Ask about a salvation army find, where you can restore/get parts, feedback etc.

I will start. I was given a VESTAX turntable by dude who was ex-dj. Has some parts missing which once ordered will total about 100-150. Anyone have feedback on this brand? Good table?

Placed an order for Dive about three and a half hours ago and it hasn't auto cancelled (yet, at least).  Different record that auto cancelled on me twice, though.  I'll be trying that one again in a day or two.

 Dive has got me 2 codes this week alone. I have it on order again and so far no issues.

Looks like the whole auto cancel  thing is as random as getting codes.

So are we more likely to have success when redeeming multiple codes by still paying a bit out of pocket or using enough codes so that it is 0.00?

either way. I have done both and first month I started to get codes got around $170 in codes. Account has to my knowledge not been flagged. Then I  scaled back a little and got around $60 this month only. Right now have 7 orders pending and will leave it at that for next month.

Only issue I have had is last 2 orders up to plate were canceled and codes were never received. Next order is set to cancel 9/11 so we will see if I get a code or not.

I also make orders without using codes for stuff under 10 bucks example Erykah Badu for 5.99just to make sure account is not flagged.

It will absolutely get cancelled. 

 

 

Here is the normal e-mail flow of getting codes:

1.) You place the order and they e-mail you that's its backordered

2.) They e-mail you again about your backordered item and offer three solutions (you should do nothing when you get this e-mail)

3.) It will finally cancel and they'll tell you a code will be coming soon

4.) They send you a code

 

*Note:

1.) If you get e-mail #3 (i.e. the cancellation e-mail) on a Friday, you will not get the code.  I wouldn't recommended e-mailing them, as that'll tip them off to what you're doing.  Just accept you didn't get a code and order the item again.

2.) They only send one code per day, so if two items get cancelled on the same day, you'll only get one code.

I had orders canceled on Friday and received codes for them. This whole thing is hit and miss. I had 2 orders place on same day cancel and no codes received and then same thing happen on another occasion and 2 codes received.

Just got an email that an item I ordered was canceled, didn't say discount on the way. First time I have seen that.

I got 2 orders canceled last week and no codes. Now I have an order that should have canceled today still open. These things were working like clockwork before these 3 orders.

my 10 year old is into green day big time.

so for xmas I got him Dos,Nimrod,Uno ,Insomniac all on colored except Uno from hot topic. Then I showed him how to handle them  and put on record player. He listens to his collection almost daily while doing homework,playing etc.

My wife last week said " God, Green Day is ok but damn all day everyday ". I am not too much into green day but hey as long as he is not listening to that regaeton shit all good.
